A Solid Item
The splitter is of solid construction. Linked it up to my two tvs. No problems and issues.

This is what I like to see in a product
So let me set this review up with the setup that this product was implemented into as it is not a A to B simple run of the mill setup. I have a NVIDIA 780 video card running from my pc going to 3 computer monitors in an expanded desktop display. I also have a Sony 55W800B television that I want to mirror my main middle pc monitor while receiving sound and video and still keep the extended display going. So 1 hdmi cable is going to my left most monitor, a dvi-d cable going to my right most monitor, and an hdmi cable going to the input of this splitter. On the splitter itself, output A goes to my middle main pc monitor and output B goes to my sony tv (input 4) via hdmi. The results: Perfection. All video and sound is passed through (of what should be on my middle monitor) to the middle monitor itself and the tv. I use this mainly for 2 purposes - steam gaming on the big screen and to play movie files from my hard drive on the big screen with ease. ALSO this passes HDCP 1.0/1.1/1.2 signals which is extremely important (and something that is not featured on most of the other $100 and lower hdmi splitters). Also 3d passthrough works perfectly in my tests also! I have been running this device for about 2 weeks now with no issue. I cannot comment on the longevity of this device in all honesty, but based on other reviews, it holds up extremely well in the long run (and the warranty covers the few duds out there). As a Network and Electronic Engineer by profession in my career, I am a fan of J-Tech and believe in their products. I am extremely impressed with the build quality and feature set - and it JUST WORKS! This is what I like to see in a product. One more thing to note is that this is encased in a metal box and not plastic which is better when heat is a concern. Excellent choice. I would love to test their other products out in the various setups I have in the future.

Works perfect to split my cable signal to another TV
Bottom line - the product is high quality and works great at a great price. If you want the full story to see if it will work for your special AV situation, please continue reading (it's going to get a bit messy though...). I use two of these so I don't have to have multiple cable boxes and I can change channels or watch recorded programs from any of three rooms (none far away). I have 1 splitter from my main cable box, which uses a 25' flat HDMI cable to reach my 32" computer monitor / TV in my office / living room (COVID issue). Then I have another HDMI splitter that feeds the 32" TV and a wireless HDMI extender to reach my other TV across the room in my kitchen. The first HDMI splitter 1) goes to my 4K TV in my bedroom, then 2) goes into the next splitter to feed the two downstream FHD TVs (Full HD, 1920 x 1080). On the 2nd splitter, I don't think it would work to drive a 4K TV on the other side because it has a 25' HDMI cable running from one splitter to another splitter, which splits the signal a second time, with one TV direct and the other being extended via wireless HDMI extender. I know it sounds complicated - but it all works exactly as I need and desire - 2 down-line FHD TVs in different rooms that I want to control from one cable box. By the way - I change channels from the other room using a "BAXF Products" infrared remote extender. That works perfectly too - just like I was in the room with the cable box. I won't get into the convex mirror I use to get additional range for the channel changer that someone at work gave me to see behind me in a cubicle... :-)

Splitter not what I expected
You can duplicate displays, but you can't extend them I recently tested the J-Tech Digital HDMI Splitter, which features a 1 input and 2 output configuration. Note that the splitter does not come with an HDMI cord, so I used my own. I didn't realize that this splitter wasn't able to split to three monitors. During my testing, the device successfully extended signal to my second monitor without any issues. However, when I tried to connect a third monitor, the splitter only duplicated the display from the second, rather than extending the desktop. This means that I could only view the same content on both outputs, which isn't what I needed for my multi-monitor setup. So, if you want to expand your workspace across multiple monitors where each screen displays different content (for instance, setting up displays 1, 2, and 3), this product may not be the best fit for you. That said, it might work well for someone with needs more aligned with duplicating displays. Overall, while the splitter performed reliably, it simply didn’t meet my expectations for extending my desktop across multiple monitors.

Great for multi TVs or monitor
Works great. I daisy chain these to 4 TVs to see my cameras. I can view just 1 or all 4 if I need to.

Bought this HDMI splitter for my Xbox One. I wanted the TV to be watchable by the wife when I wasn't home without needing to turn on or deal with the Xbox One. Then when I was home, I watch TV through the Xbox One and was tired and having to move the HDMI cable back and forth. This solved my exact need. Now the wife can watch TV as per normal and I can do so as well through my Xbox One without having to deal with anything extra or move any cables. TV looks just the same as normal and I've not had to touch the device once since setting it up. Very happy with the product so far!

I have been looking for a headache free HDMI Splitter for a long time and I finally found it. I’ve had this product for two weeks now and so far it’s been working beautifully. I’ve tried so many other splitters before this and always encountered a problem within three days. Usually it’s the HDMI handshake issue. Basically all I wanted to do is not necessarily have multiple displays on simultaneously but rather split my cable signal into the TV directly (for a simple setup for the wife) and the other signal to go through my (AMP) for my theatre setup. This product has so far proven it’s reliability. Finally found a splitter that works!

Ordered this item in hopes to split my xbox one signal between two tvs and it did that perfectly. I haven't messed around with anything else but I don't see why it wouldn't be able to split any other HDMI signal into two. No loss of image quality or lag to report. First attached image shows the item itself while the second shows the xbox signal split into my two TVs simultaneously. Edit: 6 months later, still works beautifully

Having and using this unit for the last 5 months and more, no problem, works great and does not appear to affect video quality nor the sound
