This is a great little set to give as a gift or to have as a start point for coloring those under the sea themed coloring pages. The tin is beautiful and it closes very tight (I had no need to store the pencils in a pencil case). The pencils are very pigmented, easy to blend (you can get different colors by blending the pencils), and their tip don't wear down so quickly as other brands. They are easy to color with. The only problem I had was when sharpening the pencils. The wood seems a bit soft when compared to other pencils I have, and not all my sharpeners worked well with them. The one that worked best was the rectangular Kum sharpener (the normal one, not the long point). I colored the Lily Pond page from Johanna Basford (you can get it for free on her website) using only this set. I'm very pleased with the result and I recommend this set to everyone who loves coloring.

Love them. I am homebound with severe heart failure and I just found this coloring as a new , fun thing to experience. It brings me joy and forget my troubles when I am coloring. The pencils are beautiful colors and easy to use. It's delightful product and brings me joy ...thank you

Packaging is superb, color-coordinated tin that matches pencils inside. Pencils each come with cap, too. The only thing that could be better is if they had included a small pencil sharpener with it. Ah, well. I solved this by purchasing a 12-pack of inexpensive colorful plastic sharpeners so I can include one with every tin of pencils. There are a variety of color-coordinated tins depending on what you want to do (landscape, portrait, seaside, etc.) but there are enough colors in each tin to stand alone as well. Just the nicest things - and the more you buy the less each one costs. Don't know how long that promotion will go on. Coloring is big again so these are great for anyone. My only problem is that I want to keep them. I'm going to have to work on acquiring some for myself. jh

Decent quality pencils for the price point. I usually use Prismacolor because I love soft pencils, but I liked that this color palette was specific to urban sketching-lots of lovely muted colors. My only gripe is that two colors were swapped/mislabeled. The pencil labeled Ultramarine Violet (040) was actually Cornflower Blue (092) and vice versa. Fortunately the colors are accurate on the non-sharpened end of the pencil, so visually they are correct. I guess I have one more gripe-the pencils in the tin weren’t displayed to align with the swatches in the top of the tin. Not a big deal to rearrange them in order, but the packaging/presentation is a bit sloppy. But, again, good quality pencils for the price point.

This set has ended up becoming my favorite for this year. The colors are gorgeous, and it has been sustaining a seascape and sea turtle drawing kick. The tin is great for brginging them on the go; I finally got the set it's own coach purse so that I can keep an eraser, pencil sharpener and sketch pad all in there. I guess the only con is that these tins aren't built to hold those other things, but I have it figured out. The pencils are comfortable to work with, and I haven't had any issues with breakage. I do have to use more pressure than I would like for getting a more saturated look, I think because I became accustomed to ink and markers, before. Once getting used to these, they are so awesome! Adoré el marketing del producto. La presentación y el curado de la paleta temática es un gol de media cancha que acompañado por la lata impresa hace que de por sí sea un recomendado indiscutido. Ahora sobre la expectativa del material he de confesar que no cumplió con mi premisa. Las minas son muy buenas, pero no alcanzan la calidad de las marcas profesionales de primera línea. No obstante consdiderando esto, la relación calidad/precio es muy buena. Compraría todas las latas de la colección dedicadas a diferentes artistas y temas! Son bellísimas e ideales para un regalo. No dudes en comprarlos si no te interesa la calidad de un tope de gama.

The hook to buy this product was the box of course and the inspiring palette. I thought it would be just enough to sample colors for my projects. The pencils are actually of very nice quality and I am using them very often in my sketchbooks. I love them now. Excellent idea of packaging, very good quality, I recommend those pencils to really Everyone.

Lovely set of themed coloured pencils. Nice range colours to be used in addition to a more complete set. Good quality pencils for amateur artist or hobbyist. Smooth, not scratchy and good coverage. Good price . Looking forward to using them in future pieces of artwork.
