i purchased these gloves to use when in my wheelchair. the palms are lined with soft swede-type leather that doesn't fold or crease. the velcro straps are well thought out due to orienting them so the fuzzy part is the side that faces your skin, and the scratchy part of the velcro faces away. the size feels a bit small to me, but i have very extremely large hands (and you know what they say about men with big hands. they need big gloves! 😀) but seriously though... they are stretchy enough that they conform well to the hand. the palm and fingers are surfaced with the leather i mentioned above, and the back of the fingers and hands are a soft, stretchy and breathable synthetic fabric.after heavy usage, there is a small spot on the palm where the swede is starting to loosen it's stitching, but i do use them quite a bit in a manner that really beats them up. would i buy them again? heck yeah.

My husband is a lifelong body builder. Without quality gloves he can damage his hands then cannot work out until they heal. These gloves are lightweight but do the job. So far, they seem to be wearing very well.They seem to dry quicker than some previous ones. He is happy. Thank You.

Don't use this for working out, need it for a cosplay and it is comfortable.

These are great gloves for lifting. They have good grip and are comfortable to wear. I Highly recommend them especially for the price.

These gloves offer great wrist support while I'm lifting weights and protects my hands well. Most importantly, they actually come in my size! (2XL) Only 3 stars for comfort because I think I got a defective pair. The inseam on my right glove isn't sewn flat and gives me a sharp poke on my thumb. I think it's a mistake because my left glove doesn't do that. Still, great to actually have affordable workout gloves in my size. Edit: changed my rating because the company reached out and offered to replace my gloves for free! Great seller!

Really glad that I came across Contraband products. I've search for workout gloves for a while now, tried a few different kinds over the years - some good, some not so good. When I lost my last pair, I was on the search again. I bought the Contraband Black Label gloves. Received it in couple of days and tried it on. Good quality as far as I could tell, but unfortunately it was too big for me. I measured my hands, and it was about 9 inches around. Ordered an XL. When I would close my fist, I would have all this extra material that would scrunch up in my palm that made me not so comfortable with my grip.I was so disappointed, wondering if I had to just deal with it since I ordered the wrong size and nothing wrong with the gloves themselves. But that's when I did something I don't normally do - read the email from the company. FREE SHIPPING FREE RETURNS. Bingo!Long story short, I ordered after this a L in the grey, didn't really like the grey, ordered another L in black. Too big. Ordered M in Black, and it was perfect. I was talking with Christopher from Contraband the whole time - very quick to respond. I even screwed up the return method, but he was very friendly and talked me through it. In the end, the best thing about Contraband is their customer service.In the end, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREAT PRODUCT. I would size down so that it's snug. Order with confidence! The stitching on these gloves need yo be reinforced. My photos show my glives after having used them twice a week for two years. I never washed them. The leather holds up well, but the seams broke. If the manufacturer would just reinforce the stitching, these would be good gloves.
