Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I couldn't find something like I wanted so I bought this grass matt and my husband made me this sloped piddle pad area for our deck. Obviously, the water drains off the edge and we pick up the solids and throw them away. But because the water drains we don't get the smell that we'd get if you use it on a flat area. He also put me in a doggie door so that the dog and cat can access the deck/matt anytime they want from the house without having to be let outside in the yard. We made this for the dog but we later found out the cat started using it also. The matt itself is well made but the reason I love it is because of the base my husband made for it. 5 stars overall but I marked "Abssorbency" as 1 star because this pad does NOT absorb the water. There are holes in it to let the water go through the base of the mat to what ever is below the matt.

This grass is the grass I wish I got the first time I went shopping for a patch of grass for my pet to use as "Potty grass". IT is twice the thickness of a competitors and of much better quality. Drainage is excellent and I feel that the grass over all is well made. The only con I have is that amazon sent it in a overly excessive box which contained a smaller box with the grass rolled up inside. I felt like I ordered a suitcase only to be surprised haha.

Love! I just laid it down without leveling the ground etc and so easy/fast! This is a 7’x13’ piece. Our dogs are NOT small and it’s been great so far! I ordered 6” turf staples to keep it secure! It doesn’t look like cheesy fake grass! 🙌🏻😍

We bought this because fake turf is ridiculously expensive and were looking for a cheaper alternative. However, I DID expect this grass to be more realistic and softer than it actually is. It is shiny, feels non-padded, and very short so I don't know who wouldn't be able to tell it was fake. Definitely disappointed. I would try to keep looking for a more realistic and softer product if I were you.

This has been a lifesaver for potty training our little 8 week old shih tzu puppy here in Oregon! We just moved here and it is so wet and rainy that we needed to take him somewhere other than the real grass because he came in soaking wet every time! This has been perfect on our back patio. He knows the texture is where he is supposed to go potty! He runs straight for it when we open the door!

Granted, I haven't seen a lot of fake grass up close, but this stuff is great. I have it on the front of my houseboat so it looks like a little yard. Our dogs love laying in it as is and put down a towel it's great for people as well. Bonus - it dries out faster than the flat surface I had before!I had to do 2 rows to cover the area I wanted and you can definitely see the seam despite my best efforts. Not an issue for me. I hope it holds up for at least a few years!

Mind the mess--but the dogs love their little stretch of green. I had a bit of a time trying to convey to them that its something they sit on and not chew on but now they seem to get it...(and it survived our Bull Terrier, so A+)I dont like them laying on the bare cement so it helps. If its cold outside when they have to stay out during the day, the plastic grass keeps the warm enough to sleep.

There was a small square area where my pup does his number 1. However, he goes so often that sometimes there isn't time for the prior collection to evaporate. I got tired of pretty much him stepping in mud and me having the wipe him off everytime... so I tried placing a patch of this stuff and it's been so helpful for 5 months now. Probably one of the best decisions made for my pup. Liquid drains pretty fast.
