Chris, the seller, has been extremely responsive and helpful. I am only bummed out about the discontinued feature of the night light but if it gains more traction and enough people want it then it might come back! The door is not yet closed everyone. With your help we can popularize it and one day maybe just maybe we can upgrade.

This is the best Home Planetarium you can get. The Chrome discs is a must have. It projects the sky, including the milky way, just like the real sky. Even the brightness of the stars are quite accurate.The shooting star is just a gimmick. It doesn't look real, and I don't care for it or use it.As of this version, there is a minor issue. The unit would light up the projector and "remind" you the unit is powered on. I often use it in my room, project as a real night sky, right before I go to sleep. I let it time out and turn itself off. 6 hours later, between 3am-5am, the projector turns on with maximum brightness for a second to remind me it was on. Of course it wakes me up...Contacted the maker, they said it was by design. They may have a new version that doesn't remind people like that in the future.

Christmas gift for adult son. He’s a planet/ start geek. Just loves it!

I truly wanted to love this. But for something as expensive as this l expected to be very impressed. Im not. It only comes with one disk only. (other companies gives12 disks) The instructions are very vague. The light Is way too bright to truly enjoy the experience with the chrome stormy weather, which cost $119,Plus the company charge u $19 for expedited shipping only..which arrive in one wk. how is that expedited? l have tried to follow the instruction to dim the light but to no avail. Honestly l enjoy my other $59.99 light projector way more. This is a very expensive gadget. To me it is not worth the hefty price. Im seriously thinking of returning it. Please stay away from buying disk here they do not rotate( deep sea) Im very disappointed

My son originally wanted the astronaut planetarium for $70. I came across Dark Sky and it sounded pretty impressive. I bought this for my son's Christmas present. I thought it was not bad. Kind of a lot of money to pay...but then I have not compared it to others for less money. Probably a lot of work goes into this. Anyway, my son loves it and has it in his room for college. Probably makes for a romantic scene when he has his girlfriend over.

Update: I moved to midtown Manhattan where there are too many lights yet check out the picture- I have the shades up and the device still projects perfectly! Plus I have my TV on! I just love my planetarium!————I love this product! As the pictures show, I have the one with the nightlight and feel that it is a masterpiece! (Products like these that are made by hand are no longer produced). It’s sad that everything nowadays is mass produced and therefore not unique. Mine has a serial number which shows its uniqueness and authenticity.Anyway, I am a huge lover of space and this home planetarium hits the spot for me. It is intense enough to for me to have it on while watching TV (as pictured). The shooting star and different discs are amazing add on’s. I plan on buying more discs in the future!

I am a bit sad that it did not come with the lamp function. Mine arrived with a small part of the pull out tab for the disc broken. It did not look bad, so i was ok with it.This is a realistic projector, and its worth it if you have the money, otherwise, i am also satisfied with the cheaper Pococo.

For a 600$ projector you’d think they would give you more than 1 disk. It’s nice but not for the money. Even in pitch black on a white wall it’s very mediocre. It’s the nicest projector but it’s not worth the money. Wait till it’s cheaper or don’t get it.
