Laguna 3000 Clear Flo Kit

This arrived in a big box, which help kept the original box from getting beat up. It came not damaged and was in wonderful condition. The pump runs peacefully, you need that in a pump. No noise at all, the water filtration definitely does it job. My pond is crystal clear. I have 30 big sizes Koi’s and they are all doing great. No algae, no cloud, or foam, this is the kit. I have had many pumps before this and this one works the best so far. I waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure it worked and had no problems. This was worth every penny, invest in one, you won’t be sorry. Japanese Koi’s are expensive, this pump is only worth 2 koi’s. I love it!

Great filter new design had an issue when first plug it in was leaking into the uv light section contacted Amazon and vendor after several emails back and forth the manufacturer replace the whole filter free of charge and did not have to return damaged one back great I can used for parts (media sponges canister) the only downside was that it took about 3 to 4 weeks for the whole process to happen meanwhile I had the largest koy fish die on me all four of them because my old much smaller filter could not keep up with the new larger pond that I builtUpdate 8/27/2015Replacement filter came in and still same exact problem just first one leaking into the uv light tube ( glass was cracked) contacted seller they said it will be forward to manufacture two weeks have pass by and nothing I've send them an email they responded that manufacture try to call me and left voice mail and I did not responded bulls*** no one call me or email me they both are full of s*** they do not want to own who's fault it is to replace broken partsI'm getting the run around from the seller and the manufacture meanwhile it's probably a manufacture defect on the assembly line putting these filters together maybe they overtighten or just does not fit proprely the light tube inside of the glass tubeHope someone can help with this Amazon? Refund my money so I can somewhere else and by a different filter I had enought of the s***

I have installed a set of pump/filter that runs 24/7 for 4 months now. They work together seamlessly for my koi pond. What's better is the seller, understanding and responsive, which helped me a lot as a new user. Very happy with their product and service. When my kois grow bigger, I may buy another set from them.

This is my second Laguna filter; the first was purchased about 4 years ago and is still running well; the only reason I got rid of it was I sold my entire aquaponics system and that was part of the ‘package’.I just bought a 650 gallon prefab tank and needed a filtration system so I naturally bought Laguna again, about two-three weeks ago. So far, this filter is running like a champ too.My only complaint is that Laguna doesn’t include the hose- when something is labeled as a “kit”, I would assume everything I need will be in the box.But because the product itself has been great, I’m giving it five stars. Should I ever need another filter, it will be a Laguna.

So far, works very well. Have had set up now for a couple weeks. Pond is crystal clear and algae seems to be under control. Pump very powerful for waterfall and filter and UV light are great. Had a lower grade filter and pump in past and was happy also with it as it lasted a long time. Luguna is great for pond maintenance. Highly recommended.

I setup the entire unit and then It started leaking all over the place. Then I noticed all the problems. One of the tubing connectors on the side was cracked off at the bottom so it didn’t make a tight seal. The unit was pouring water from the area where the plug goes into the unit. No clue why. The unit was leaking a significant amount of water from the top. Opened it and found that the glass sleeve covering the UG light was cracked and broken, the seals weren’t even in the right place. The UV light itself has four prongs and one of them was broken off. I needed to get the pond up and running so I went to a local garden center and got a new one planning on returning this one. Setup the new one plugged it in and again it leaks. Found the glass to be broken again and pouring out water from around the plug. Have no idea why that occurs. On a positive note the pump worked great. It was all the filter. Had other Laguna products that I loved. Replaced my original unit because it suffered an accident with a new puppy and was no longer working. Had it for 6 years without a problem. Not sure why these are not as good.

Filter seems to be doing the job .... but the pump is very weak and nothing like I expected

The media could not be loaded. When doing the check on the quartz sleeve after the pump has been pumping water before plugging in the filter canister as recommended in the instructions, shut off the pump and unhook the intake hose as water will continue to come in even when the pump is unplugged. Dry everything off before reassembling. I tried to call the service number but they were busy and did not get back to me so i figured it out myself. Also, clamps are needed to clamp the hose on to the adapters. Even then, there was slight leakage. Otherwise, great product, pretty good instructions and it appears to be working great. This unit is replacing a 15 year old pump and filter as you can see in the video. The water is crystal clear.

pump burned out not long for the money

J'utilise ce filtreur pour mon bassin d'hiver de 1000 gallons jumelé à un bakki shower. Malgré la masse importante de jeunes kois que je nourrit 4 fois par jours il garde les analyses de mon eau parfaite. Facile à nettoyer.Très satisfait à ce jour, l'avenir me dira si la pompe est durable.

Arrived in good shape, able to install with minimal time for preparation.
