Recipes for Lotions & Butters

Just what I was looking for. Very concise instructions. So many formulas! There are new ingredients, botanicals, and actives I have been dying to try. I just got the book book a few days ago and luckily I had all the ingredients to make the Skin Repair Lotion and the Green Tea Body Lotion. Both are wonderful. I have been making my own lotions for a few years and I've been using the products from Making Cosmetics for 5 years. One negative reviewer claimed that it was like a catalog for the company, it is not. The instructions and tips are at the beginning of the book and there are 27 formulas. You can easily find all of these products in a google search and cheaper goods can be found elsewhere too. I know this because I have bought products from less than reputable companies and have wasted a lot of time and money not to mention poor results and the possibility of contaminated goods. I know that the products I have purchased at Making Cosmetics are safe and the prices are good too. I am sure the formulas in this book have been tested and I will test mine soon just to be on the safe side.

The instructions are easy to follow, for first timers like me. Also, explains the mechanism of each ingredients, and the processes of mixing. Provides you with tips and advices.
