First time I ordered it, I received a phone case in a used 2 qrt bowl used box. Purchased the second time to replace it and although the size and item was correct, the tail of fish arrived broken.

I gave this as a housewarming gift to a couple who enjoy entertaining and have a seaside design theme. They love it.

Beautiful item but arrived in pieces. This happens every time the seller is big box bargains. What a waste of french ceramic!

I had already bought the 5 quart boat baker, and I really liked that, so I was sure I would enjoy this little piece. It's very cute, and so functional. I love that I can put it safely in the dishwasher. The glaze is really pretty, on all my pieces (I have the red currant as well as the pineapple). I'm very pleased with Appolia ceramics.OK- I had to change the stars, because I ordered two more of these, and they both arrived broken. The first ones I ordered were packed in peanuts- those got here in one piece. The next two (gingerbread color) were packed very poorly, and arrived in fragments. It's so depressing to have these lovely pieces ruined by poor packing. This is just a terrible waste of materials and time (the vendors and mine). Get it together people- it's not that hard to pack ceramics for shipping.Update- 7/8/14- I ordered 6 more of these (because they were six bucks!), thinking at least 3 would come broken- but no! They've finally learned how to pack these (or it was a fluke- I can't tell you which)- but this time, each bowl came in its own box, and all arrived ok, despite the fact that one box was accordioned! I thought for sure the bowl would be broken, but it was not. I can't wait to use these as salad bows. They will be adorable when I serve large tuna salads for dinner! And they are, of course, also lovely serving bowls. And to think, they've actually learned to package them! (maybe)

Someone attempted to purchase this item for me for Christmas (through Amazon.) What arrived is a VERY tiny bowl that is not at all flat like the item pictured, it really looks like a bowl. It is also not even close to a two quart baker. It might hold two cups, if you're lucky. If you are looking for a two quart baker, this is not the item for you. The bowl was cute and I loved the color and the fish, but would certainly not work for any recipe requiring a two quart dish.
