Great
This product does exactly what its supposed too. I used it to insulate our chicken coop and now our birds are nice and warm even here in cold Montana. Also used it under the kitchen cabinet above the toaster oven.

It Smells.
Emits a very strong chemical odor when the sun comes round and shines on it. It has been in place for two weeks and so far no abatement of odor.

Good material for a car sunshade
Bought this roll specifically to cut a car windshield sunshade out of it. This stuff works pretty well, and I'm happy with it, but there are a few shortcomings to be aware of (see below). With a white car, maximum legal tinting on the windows and in a hot climate... the windshield is the big weak point and the performance of various sunshades is immediately obvious. Highly reflective shades work MUCH better than the flat grey common in expanding wire-loop shades. Plus, those look horrible routing around the mirror, just aren't ever the right size and have to compress one direction or another, and leave big gaps around the corners that the little flaps just don't cover. Plus I have a large car which the (27" tall max) one-piece units just never cover, and the bigger two-piece units don't look like as good of a deal. The custom-cut shades for my car cost much more than this whole roll, while this roll is big enough to fit TWO large cars, including side windows. They had bigger openings around the mirror than I wanted, which gave me pause. And most importantly, they have rigid segments, so can only roll-up into a ~2.5-ft long bundle, which is very difficult to find a place to stash while driving, when carrying passengers. I can triple-fold a sheet of this InfraStop/Reflectix stuff easily enough, which then fits right under the driver's seat, no problem. Plus, this stuff is fully reversible, while almost all other shades are not. So this had all the properties I wanted and needed.CONS:- It is very awkward getting started, and nerve-wracking the first time around figuring out how to mark and cut it, ensuring it fits perfectly without going too-small (best trick is shoving it down into the recess, then tracing a bit outside the crease). Expect it to take over an hour, and it depends entirely on you whether your first attempt comes out exactly right. Better to start with a couple large pieces of cheap fiberboard, then when you've got one cut right, use it as a template to trace your cuts.- It's important to cut it just a LITTLE bit smaller than the opening. It's cold while you're cutting it, but sitting in the sun it will heat up and EXPAND. You'll get crushed & collapsing edges if you don't include a small gap.- After just a few times folding it up, the material retains the crease and curls up a bit when you want it to stay flat. Visor positioning will hold it in place well enough, and it still looks pretty good, but it's not as perfect as I had hoped.- After numerous repeated re-folding, the reflective foil starts to fall off in just a few small spots at the creases. You will see a little light coming through. It is small, you won't notice if not looking very close, and doesn't affect reflecting/insulating performance.

Can't go wrong.
Just as good as the more popular brand. I used this material to cover all my hvac ductwork and have found other uses. The price point for this item is much better than similar products.
