I just received this and used it immediately to do some troubleshooting on my complex home network. This is one of those tools that I should have had 10 years ago. It is great for finding bad cables and for identifying each of the cables where you have several coming into a hub. Several terminators with different "IDs" are provided, making it painless to map your network cabling. In my case, the biggest issue I had was actually a Port failure in a switch and NOT the wiring. This made that clear in no time. I would highly recommend this tester.

Love this tester! It’s simple and works well, lightweight and compact. Couldn’t ask for anything more in a basic Ethernet tester. Also if you’re not using a tester, you should - takes the guesswork out of uncertain connections and makes hookups much faster.

The instructions go into depth, but if you read them this tool is excellent. Excellent purchase and worth the money.

This tester kit is a huge time saver. It quickly identified my Ethernet and coax runs with zero confusion. The remote locators are clearly labeled and super handy for larger jobs. Solid build quality, easy to read screen, and intuitive controls. Great for pros or DIYers.

Seems to be a good high quality and well built piece of test equipment with Wide Range uses (probably far beyond what I will ever use... It is well priced and seems to be Heavy Duty and well constructed. Where I think it would survive a drop, It may or may not survive a Long Drop, especially on a Hard Service. I do recommend this unit. It does what it says it is supposed to do. It comes with a Generic 9 VDC battery that I refuse to use the ones supplied with the product, I recommend using Duracell.. Much Higher Quality!

This product is as good as advertised. This tester feels durable because I have had it in my work bag between other tools for months now and it is still works great. It continues to help me locate wiring faults easily and has more than paid for itself. I love it
