Gate & Key: Sidereal 13 Sign Astrology

Before I get to the content of this book, I would just like to state that the artwork and velvety texture of the cover is stunning. I was not always a fan of sidereal astrology, but Desiree has made a believer. Desiree shares in depth the history of sidereal astrology and discusses its differences compared to the more well known Western practice. This is a great introduction to not just sidereal astrology, but the subject as a whole. It’s easy to follow and has helpful charts. This book would also make for a great reference book. I look forward to the one!

I really enjoyed reading this text and found it insightful and thoughtful. Ophiuchus start date changed long ago (due to calendar changes and Earth's axis changes if I recall correctly) to November 29th. Aside from some grammatical errors the book is well written. I would and have already recommended this book to others.

Maybe you can't judge a book by it's cover, but this one has a very nice velvety cover with witchy art featuring the tree of life in a 13 sided star. The contents are excellent reference materials laid out in an orderly fashion. A quick go-to guide for learning the basics and also some great info about Ophiuchus. Easy to follow with great graphics.

My favourite book in helping me with my astrology studies.

I actually liked this a lot more than I expected. I bought a couple books here online and I’ve found myself coming back to this one often. It’s very straight forward. Easy to learn.

I’m sure the book has great knowledge but whoever put it together did a horrible job, my pages are falling out as I turn to the next page and I just started :(

I recieved an early copy to proof. I've got to say if you want to start learning astrology this is an excellent resource! I used to opposed to the alternative astrology where they add that extra sign....Now I've learned that this system is scary accurate! It made me want to pour knowledge into my brain and learn this new language.This is a starter book in a soon to be complete series. I am excited to to start reading the next ones but 1st I need to memorize the symbols in this one. :)It was exactly what I was looking for!

The author is very knowledgeable. It's a must have for anyone who is interested in Astrology.

THE BAD: this book has HORRIBLE spelling and grammar! I'm only on page 46 and have noticed several spelling and grammar mistakes which I've been overlooking, no problem. Then, I got to page 46 and see this (see photo) "medium neuter". Ummmmm, what?!? Lol I think thats supposed to say neutral not neuter! I'm curious about the editor's birth chart and what planets are in their 3rd and 9th houses...lolTHE GOOD: other than the not so good editing, the book is super informative for people curious about astrology. I wish this would have been my very first Astrology book because it does explain in detail and is simple to understand.I will definitely be using it in the future when I need a refresher. Highly recommend this book for young or for brand new Astrologers.
