I have been looking for a good while for the right baby doll to give to a special little one year old. This doll is adorable. I know she will love it.

Mixed feelings about this doll. I think it was pretty expensive. Then again it was a gift and I went with their suggestion. I am sure those who collect dolls might say this doll was cheap. Where I think it was a good purchase was when my niece would carry it everywhere. In my experience , I have seen kids play with all the packaging rather than the actual toy. My niece did the opposite. Out of the box the dolls smells like baby powder. The doll is machine washable. The eye open and close. The doll closes the eyes when laid down, and opens the eyes when picked up. The doll is not the big either it is about 10 inches in length. When I opened I was expecting a bigger doll. Not at all. Which is ok in my situation since the dolls was the perfect size for my niece. For a small child, she really takes care of her doll. Expensive but i would recommend this doll to any parent.

This is an adorable baby doll. We always pay the extra money to get the adora dolls that open and close their eyes. Kids just seem to love that feature. However, we gave this to our 1 year old for Christmas, and so after only 3 1/2 weeks of use, the baby’s eye lids are noticeably chipped and the baby’s pajamas have those really unsightly and annoying clumps of fabric all over them. We haven’t even washed them yet. We have also not washed the doll since we got her, and honestly for a $40 doll, we do expect the paint not to chip (or whatever the coating is on the doll’s skin). Cheap clothing is usually the kind that gets the little balls of fabric all over it in no time. It happens to human clothes too. But not in just 3 weeks. I am most likely going to ask for a replacement to see if I just got a bad one, because I am still within the return period, and despite the flaws, my daughter absolutely loves her baby. The good thing about the adora dolls like this one is they are soft bodied, machine washable, and great for young children. We have another adora doll that had lasted much, much longer, and so I do have hope that the quality is typically better.

I was looking for a brown eyed, not totally pale skinned baby doll that closes its eyes - this fit that need perfectly. Additionally, it is soft and cuddly. The face, hands and feet are a softer plastic and a little squishy without being creepy and the body is squishy and very huggable. And the promise of it being machine washable made it impossible to pass up.The baby powder scent is very strong. The entire box and everything in it smelled like baby powder upon arrival and it was wrapped in a plastic bag. I returned before ever using, so I don’t know if the smell would’ve lessened with time and washing.I purchased for my daughter’s 2nd birthday and realized belatedly that she was growing out of the baby doll phase and into the little girl doll phase where she wants to brush and style her doll’s hair, I wish I’d seen this when she was just getting into dolls.

My daughter has become obsessed with baby dolls the past few months so after looking through Amazon this one looked super promising and I ended up getting the light up wheel stroller from the same company as well , my daughter is going to adore this baby doll and stroller when she opens them on Christmas the baby is super soft smells amazing beanbag beads in bottoms to help the baby doll sit up it’s features are very cute as well much better quality then any baby doll I’ve ever bought her and it’s supposed to be machine washable (haven’t tried yet), so excited to see her face light up on Christmas Day
