This is a great teapot! I really want to get into "the art of making tea" because it's so good for you and stimulates all the senses, also, I am recovering from a back injury and am looking for anything that will help relieve my inflamed nerves. I had about 4 items in my cart just to do what this little jem does all by itself and at such a great price. It's pretty, convenient and the tea I've made so far tastes fabulous, as good as the tea my "tea snob" friends make in their devices. I warm the water on the stove, then place the diffuser in after I turn off heat, when the tea reaches the color I desire, I take out the diffuser and serve tea in the beautiful teapot. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have richly brewed tea without breaking the bank or having to spend a lot of time making it. I love this pot. Just right for one or two people. For all the dummies who complain about the lid falling off when they pour (how stunned can you be?): take three ouchless hair organizers, tie them together with one end wrapped around the handle, the other end over the spout and the centre, split it left and right over the button of the lid. That lid will go nowhere. Problem solved !I also like the green silicone sleeve around the infuser. This makes it possible to handle the infuser without burning fingers, and it prevents the infuser and the lid from rattling about . . . ingenious! The lid also fits perfect when the infuser is removed.The glass is very thin walled, lightweight and a joy to handle . . . but with feeling and with respect.I heat the water to the lower spout line for 4½ minutes in a 1000W microwave to the boiling point.

Nothing but five stars here. I purchased this product originally about a month ago and loved how it looked and functioned. Makes great tea and so easy to clean. But the customer service is even more amazing. I received a follow up note from the people that make them asking how I had liked it. I replied that while I loved it unfortunately I had ruined the teapot by forgetting that I was making tea and left on the burner for about 7 hours! Needless to say by then it was a mess. The glass hadn't broken (amazingly) but by then of course all the water had long evaporated and the tea leaves then had stained the glass beyond serviceable use. Totally my fault. I was really bummed but intended to purchase another one soon. A couple of days later I came home to see a box on my table. Wondering what it was since I hadn't ordered anything recently I was so surprised to open it and to find a brand new replacement teapot! It made my day. I hadn't asked for it in any way. Anyways happily brewing a cup of tea as I write this.

I just love this little tea pot! I've used it multiple times since if received it. Love that it is dishwasher safe. Love that it holds enough tea for just me or to share. The tea steeper is perfect and fits snug into the tea pot. Obviously if you use it as I did on the stove (bc hello STOVE TOP SAFE!) use a heat resistant glove or towel to pour bc if you don't the handle will burn you. Love it! Love the price! Arrived on time. Can't say enough awesome things about it! The kid does feel delicate so be careful with it (that's the only "con").

I purchased this because I love tea as pat of my morning but I am also a mom with two little ones so I needed a veristle, fast teapot. I like to remove the filter and place this teapot in the microwave and have hot water with in 3 minutes on normal busy morning and if I forget about it in the microwave I simply set it again to reheat (no worries about forgetting it on the stove that way). When I have a guest come over I like to heat it on the stove. The teapot is beautiful and pours very nicely. It is delicate looking and light but the glass is very strong. I was blown away by the costumer service that the Prolific TeaCup company provides. I didn't have any issues or concerns and they contacted me in genuinely caring manner to make sure I was happy with my purchase and I sure am!

It is a beautiful piece of cookware. Looks great on a shelf when not in use. It is very thin glass, very fragile, but I kind of enjoy the dainty feeling. Not meant for a big handed man. If you treat it nice it will treat you nice. And I absolutely LOVE having a strainer. It's a must for me. I much prefer brewing with glass than metal. For the price, it's a great buy. It also includes an automatic 30 day warranty and the option to upgrade to 90 days for free against any damage, "even if your puppy breaks it" lol. So thank also nice. 4 stars only due to being delicate.

I became frustrated with metal tea pots that rust, so I decided to go with this lovely little glass teapot. I really love it. It's cute and does the job. I was a little concerned that the handle would get too hot to handle but I've managed that by making sure the handle isn't positioned of the heat while heating (I have a glass top electric oven so that is easy to do). The only drawback would be if you need a large amount of water at one time but this is not the case with me. I haven't use the infuser yet as I use tea bags and the top doesn't fit as snug without the diffuser but that's not a problem when simply boiling water. They also have great customer service. I really, really like this teapot. It is excellent. It does exactly what it should.I use it on my gas stovetop. I use it to boil water and then place the teabags inside while on the burner.I have not used the infuser at this time. I'm sure it will do its job as well. Just place a finger on the lid as you pour.If you place it on the burner correctly, you can pick up the teapot without being burned. I've done it several times already.Even the lid can be picked up without getting burned.Great product. Also, the spout does not drip. I've used it several times since receiving it and no drops from the spout.It's just what I need. It is beautifully made, just be gentle cleaning it. You won't be disappointed.I'll probably get another one in case I break this one by accident.
