iPod Nano 7 Case, rooCASE Hybrid iPod Nano 7 Skin Case with Detachable Holster Clip with Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPod Nano 7th Generation, Purple

I got this case for the 7th or 8th generation nano (not sure which one i have but the only difference is the color). I got the mint green color and it's exactly the same shade of mint green as shown in the product picture (which sort of disappointed me tbh). I already wish i'd gotten the purple one...I was worried the screen protector would make the touch screen less sensitive but it works fine. I was also worried this case would mess with the pedometer function but it doesn't (still accurate). I read in someone else's review that they had to take the hard shell piece off if they wanted to listen to it in their car but i have yet to encounter any jacks or plugs that don't fit with the full case on. UPDATE: okay i ran into the exact same problem as that other reviewer cause i can't fit some audio plugs into it with the case on (just the AUX one in my car, but all the headphones/earbuds i have DO fit with it on). I REALLY like how this case covers all the buttons without taking away their function cause i like being able to wipe it down (there is a permanent layer of visible grime in all the seams and crevasses of my filthy old nano so hopefully i'll be able to avoid that with this one).I did take off a star because I find the clip hard to use. It's usable, but I hate it because it takes both hands to adjust (like just to press down to open the clip), which makes it such a pain to position and secure. I really didn't expect that i'd still be shoving my nano in inappropriate places (like my sports bra) to secure it but this clip is such a pain that i don't use it nearly as much as i want to.I'm sure this case seems like overkill but i've had my older 4th generation iPod nano for several yrs and sometimes I think it only made it this far because i always have it in a hardshell case. My old nano has survived countless drops (like nearly every day for the past couple yrs alone i've dropped it on hardwood floors and concrete) and it's had various things spilled on it and although it's currently got all sorts of nasty stuff stuck in its ports and seams (like even gum) it somehow still works an doesn't have a single scratch on it (i should probably clean off the gum though). Because of the "glass" screen protector it comes with, this is the only similar case i could find for my new nano.BTW, there are 2 versions of this case; this version comes with a "tempered glass" screen protector to protect the screen from scratches, while the other, cheaper version, does not (find that one here:  rooCASE Hybrid Silicone Case with Detachable Holster Clip for iPod Nano 7 (Slate) ).

Overall great product. This item came with a very durable glass screen protector and it fit perfectly onto my ipod nano. Now the rubber cover is a little tight so just know that it works best if you plan on always having that on, but it fits perfectly into the case. I've ran with it clipped at the waist and it wasnt bouncing obnoxiously as i would imagine. I can clip it practicly any where.Highly recomend it

This case is just what I was looking for! I wanted a simple, but tough case for my new iPod Nano. This roocase slid right on to my iPod Nano and covered all the edges and back of the iPod with a silicone case. The iPod can then be slid into a belt clip which I like to use to secure my iPod inside my pocket. With the small size of the iPod Nano, the clip gives me a little more comfort when putting it in my pocket. I always worried it would slip out of my pocket, but with the clip, I feel comfortable it isn't going to fall. The screen protector that comes with the case and belt clip is fantastic! It is easy to apply and it's thick! I have no worries about scratches with this screen! I wasn't sure if I was going to like the thickness, but with the silicone case on, I don't even know that the screen protector is there. Even though the screen protector is thick, it does not impact the use of the screen. It still scrolls and responds to touch just as it would without the screen protector. This is a great case, clip and screen protector. I highly recommend!

The only for the 4-star review is that I need to replace these about every 6 months because the clip breaks off. I work out 6 days a week for about 2 hours a day. I clip it off and on choosing my music selection. Even though I have to replace it every 6 months it is the best product I have found for my iPod.

I've had this case for about 5 months now and it works perfectly. The inner case has never slipped out of the outer clip for me. The clip is really strong and works well, stays in place when i clip it to my pants or shirt while doing cleans, running, handstand, etc. It did pop off one time, but i may have bumped it with my arm - the case did its job and the ipod was fine. The nice screen protector keeps my screen scratch-free when I literally toss my ipod in my bag after a workout. However, I now use wireless headphones and keep this clipped to a bag or water bottle most of the time. Overall, I love this case and would recommend it. The seller did get a little spammy asking to write a review, which I thought I had already done on multiple occasions, but eventually it stopped.

The case is nice at first -- the iPod fits well in it and protects it from sweat with the screen cover as well. But the clip on the case broke after only 4-5 months of using it 3-4 times a week. I'm not abusive with it, when I went to clip it on the other day the clip simply broke in my hands. Not worth the price for something so flimsy.

I got the case that includes the tempered glass. You get a cleaning wet wipe, a soft cloth, and a sticky paper to pick off extra dust in preparation for glass screen cover. The glass piece about .4mm thick) is easy to place and adheres easily and right away. Its easy to lift off and re-position if needed. The case it self fits the Nano 7th Gen nicely. First it is a silicon sleeve and that slides in to a plastic clip holder. I shook it around and it does not move. Buttons are all accessible as well as ports on bottom. There is no dust cover for ports but that never is an issuer for me. Your iPod color will not show through with this case. So get a color you want. I got black

Great rubber case, easily installled, hard case is also flixible and can take a good shock, no issues. Mine fell of while jogging and it bounced and rollled, iPod was just fine and no issues with the cases. Screen is so easy to install, can be done in your sleep and it is rugged! Down side, the clip could use a better anchor point hence the reason my iPod went for a tumble. The delivery time was bang on, super packaging and no issues there. Great product and price.
