I use this all the time. Just re-apply every couple of months. Helps during the summer to make it so bug strikes clean up way easier.

Hard to work with.
It smears. And hard to rub out. Buy the gel! It’s way better to work with and comes out clear.

Toss Those Yellow Bottles Out
Was a fan of the original Rain-X when it showed up 40 years ago. Once the company was sold, seemed product performance went into a dive…Researching who originally made it, realized they were still in business making, what I think is a far superior product - Rain Clear.Yes, it may not be as easy to apply as modern Rain -X, I believe the payoff comes in superior water dispersion and longevity between applications. I can easily blow off water from my cars glass after a wash (with a battery powered lawn blower) leaving the glass nearly spotless.
