Well made, and a good value for the money. You should not receive very many returns!
This vice is an excellent product for the price. Very well made. I expect years of service.

don't buy cheap
Vice broke, hubby didn't want to spend the money. I put my foot down, he could buy another inexpensive, mid line vice again IF he promised he would never use a cheater pipe, it would never hold a drive shaft and he would never use it to heat and beat with a torch and hammer. When the old antique broke, we've done nothing but buy a new vice every 2 yrs. I was tired of spending the money. For a few dollars more, my son can inherit this one. I use the vice myself, I hated our affordable replacements.Love the vice and it was worth the wait time.

Worth Every Penny!
Edit: 12/2024. I paid $145 back in 2020. Just an fyi. This vise is still going strong after all this time. Still doing random handy man stuff with it. Still happy with my purchase. Original review is below:I was looking for a made in the USA high quality bench vise. A vise reminiscent of the one my father used 30 years ago. Like many of you, I discovered the price tag attached to a high quality American made bench vise dashed my hopes of obtaining one. This was going to be my first vise and i wanted one to last.During my research I found that Wilton maintained some exacting standards to their "Foreign Made" bench vises. So matching my needs to a vise, I decided on this Wilton WS6.First off, this thing is HEAVY. The FedEx driver did not carry it the last 6 ft to the front door and dropped it off halfway. Shipping weight with outer box was 49 lbs. Box says Manufactured in China to Wilton Specifications. On amazon, description says 25,000 casting, but on the Wilton website the WS6 is Listed at 30,000 PSI cast iron. The box and paperwork for the WS6 say it has a "lifetime" warranty", but i do not see myself needing it anytime soon.PROS: Heavy Duty, All the parts seem to fit together well, Very smooth when operating, Rigid with very little slop, Once locked downed It did not move while beating on it, Jaws line up perfectly, Holds well, Swivels well, 4 Mounting Holes vs 3, 2 Swivel Locks, Perfect for my needs. (General Purpose, Handyman)CONS: This thing was dirty, grease seemed to have been used to coat every surface. (to prevent rust maybe??) There were metal shavings and paint chips stuck to the grease. A couple spots on the machined edge of the u-channel screw cover were sharp, cut you like a knife sharp, it was not de-burred very well. I had to file those edges down. So be careful where you put your hand before you inspect the screw cover.OVERALL: Great value for the money. 5 stars. I would totally recommend this vise for those of you out there wanting quality, but sadly not able to afford an American made bench vise. After wiping it down, cleaning it up and applying some protective silicone grease, I stood back and admired this piece of equipment I purchased. The WS6 is definitely worth the money spent. I have only used it a couple times, and will update my review if anything changes. Now, only time will tell if it will last.

Works good
Vise seem better built then most I've used around similar price range from big box store. I've been an automotive tech for about 18 years. I can tell this one is sturdy and i've been using it in the shop for a couple of months now.

I purchased this as the best compromise between price and quality.
This is my first bench vise, but I did a lot of research before choosing it. I even looked for old vises but everyone seems to think theirs is an antique deserving a premium price. Overall, I am happy with the quality of it. But there's just a bit more side-to-side wiggle in the jaw than I would prefer, so no five stars. Oh, and if you live in a humid climate, I suggest you grease and oil it well. It had a minimal coating out of the box.

Good quality
I bought this for my garage shop for little repairs and projects. I’m a retired farmer and had expensive Jet grinders and vices. I don’t need that now nor do I have room for them. This came up on Amazon at a good sale price. I’m impressed with the quality. It does everything I need to do. Recommend

Great solid vise.
Perfect for work table mount. Jaws are starting to rust some but what vise hasn't. This thing was built for WORK and it is great for all kinds of materials. I've used it for plate...pipes....wood pieces, even holding plastic stuff ( just be smart here)..even used it to straighten stuff. So glad I replaced my old renkie dink vise with this. YOU will not be disappointed. Recommend.
