Blackadder: The Complete Collected Series

Ah, Blackadder! Is there anything funnier than this? Although this is just the soundtracks of the show, fans will have no trouble grasping the situations, even when jokes were visual in nature.

Loved the TV show when I was a young guy but find now that a lot of the jokes fall flat. Still a funny show but with this audio only version (the actual TV soundtrack) it is a bit hard to hear some of the lines (and I’m a big fan of BBC4 Audio Dramas)

If you are a fan of BlackAdder, or want to hear those famous words- "I have a cunning plan" then this is for you. Containing everything from BlackAdder including its bid for Britain's Best Sitcom with John Sargeant (It came second to Only Fools and Horses). This has been the difference between a good day and a bad day for me. Lunchtime at work I listen to an episode and no matter what my day, still laugh out loud.

A good laugh

As with all great comedies, you do not really lose much not being able to see the acting. This is definitely the case for this box set which has good sound quality, nice extras on the final disk and is well presented with secure cases. If you enjoy the TV series, you will enjoy this very much. Good price too, compared with some box sets. (Bought in 2011)
