The Untamed (Chinese TV Series, English Sub,12-DVD-Complete Series, All Region DVD)

This series will always be a favorite that I will watch many more times. I read the novels after I saw The Untamed series the first time; the TV series follows the novels very closely. I love the characters, the acting, and the soundtrack, wiich I also have.

I got this as a Christmas present for my best friend who is a huge The Untamed fan.In the past, I ordered DVDs from different countries where it didn’t work at all. Happy to say that is not the case with this one! I popped it into my regular player and it worked like a dream. No issues what so ever. The quality and subtitles are also great too, close to rival what I see on Netflix.The only issue I do have is that there are a lot of discs to keep track of and the price. I do wish the episodes were compiled more onto the disc then spreading them out.

Once I saw the trailers for The Untamed, I was hooked. There was so much chemistry between the 2 lead actors, Xiao Zhan (Wei Wuxian/Wei Ying) and Wang Yibo (Lan Zhan) that I couldn't take my eyes off of them. I don't normally decide to watch a series that quickly but this one was different. At the time, I didn't know that this movie was based off of a BL(Boy Love) novel called Mo Dao Zu Shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation). But I soon found out and realized that the reason the main characters had to have that chemistry was because they fell in love with each other in the story. The movie was wonderful and the cast was exceptional. I bought this dvd set because I wanted it permanently in my collection. I've watched this series so many times on my streaming services that I've lost count. I know that if they decide to pull it from Netflix or Rakuten Viki,I'll still have a copy to watch. Maybe, I'll download the digital version. Anyways, this series is so popular around the world it's incredible. Yes, I'm obsessed with it. My Dvd set plays perfectly. Although, I won't use them so much until they remove The Untamed from the streaming services. This is a must see series.

I discovered Asian TV and movies a little over a year ago. This series is awesome. It's spoken in Chinese. However, the English subtitles are available. If you like mysteries with some fantasy, lots of action you really need to see this. It's available on Amazon fire or YouTube if you want to see it before purchasing. I had to buy it. Even though I've watched it Many times. The story line is ever evolving. The casting is absolutely impeccable. The sets and scenery is great. Totally, completely love this show.
