Excellent quality and wonderful book.

As an avid cyclist who absolutely loves climbing on a road bike, this book has enormous appeal for me. I wanted to love it but given the washed out and overexposed photos that appear throughout the chapters, I would not buy it had I seen it beforehand. There are so many tools for editing photos now that a little time spent with some of them could have vastly improved the browsing experience.

Excellent photos giving a real sense of the land a ride covers. I bought one for a friend who has ridden la marmotte twice and a few of the others in this book. He was amazed at how the pictures capture what he has been trying to tell people about the terrain. The book is a real accomplishment!

One of the most elegant and well put together photography books I've ever seen. Such beautiful scenery and amazing detail as well as well written. One just want to take the bike and explore.
