Solid product, would recommend.
I started shopping for a callus remover after yet another fight with some painfully cracked heels. Got it in the mail yesterday and let it charge for a bit before taking it for a spin. I had pretty thick callouses built up and my two concerns going in were that 1) it would hurt and 2) it wouldn't make a dent on my feet. I was pleasantly surprised to see I didn't have any reasons to worry. It was completely painless, and even when I slipped and rubbed it against non-calloused skin, there was no pain/damage. I went after my feet while they were dry, and it still did a good job on my callouses, not completely removed, but much more smoothed out. I suspect that after a couple of sessions, especially using while my feet are wet after a shower, I'll finally have some feet that don't frighten small children. :D I might wish for a little bit more power to it, but I think if it was any stronger, you would run the risk of potential damage if you're careful, so I think it finds a good balance.

I've only used this once, but it worked great. I was afraid I might mutilate my foot, but if you press too hard the roller stops turning. You can gently file away your rough skin and callouses. The instruction booklet is "charmingly" translated with tons of cute misspellings (like the word "callous" for example). I suggested this item to a friend but see that it's no longer available on Amazon, which is where I purchased it. The company has sent 2 very friendly emails and has reminded me that I'm entitled to free refills of the grinding wheels when I'm ready. I chose this particular brand because reviews of other brands with batteries say that they run down after one or two uses. This model has a recharger so no replacement batteries needed. So far, so good!

Out of the Doghouse!!
Okay fellas, some of our feet are so bad that you required an industrial approach. The use of the power sander from your garage before thinking of using this product. Extreme yes. Necessary to get out of the 'dog house' for putting holes in the lil lady's new Egyptian Cotton sheets because of our feet, of course!Having done that, this product put the finishing touches on neglected feet. Now operation 'Modern Man' was ready for testing. Cotton ball test-pass, a silk hanky-pass, footsy under the diner table with my lady...PASS! This foot system works and since I'm not a spa pedicure kinda guy, this is the next best thing.Oh, I'm out of the doghouse and those Egyptian Cotton sheets are still in one place, thanks to Modern Man.

Writing this from the "user" prospective
So as the user of this callus remover I love it! I have used just about every other product on my wife's feet. As a man I always say I'll do just about anything when it includes a power tool. This sucker is a power tool and it rocks. I have spent TONS of time doing my best with other methods, but this took care of it in about 5 minutes. Awesome purchase!My wife stated that it was good, but really I think she just wants the lotion afterwards. Now that I have a power tool, I'm happy to oblige.

It really works
Was amazed at how good a job the callus remover did. My husband has had a callus on the base of his big toe that was painful for years. It took a while t get most of the callus removed...we didn't want to "get it all" at one time. He is pain free now. We will continue to work on the callus again.Thank you for such a good dependable product that works and for the offer of free rollers...GrammyG

I am a impressed so far with thecallus remover did a very nice job removing a callus that was being cut off by a podiatrist. Could have gotten 5 stars if the unit had about 20% more power. Overall so far after only using it for a few days I would recommend this electric callus remover.

I purchased this through Amazon. It does a really good job removing callous and dead skin from my feet. Takes longer than a shaver, but much smoother results and no pain! Highly recommend. I was not given any incentive to write this review or purchase the product.

Does the Job
My feet were in bad shape. So much so that I'd ruin hose after one time of wearing them. With regular maintenance of the Foot Filer and nightly application of skin softener, they are much smoother. Product did what I wanted it to do. I did NOT get a discount on price to put in this review.
