I was worried about the weight of the product and how it was packed before I received it. I opened the box and said man!!! This thing is solid and not a chip anywhere. Was very easy to assemble but I did go with a little stronger hardware to mount it due to spacing of my studs. It's a very contemporary item on our wall holding a fish tank and Amazon Alexa. Looks really nice.

I was looking for a floating media cabinet for my TV room, and while this was a little more than I wanted to spend, I went ahead and purchased it. I'm very glad I did. It assembles very easily, and the instructions are clear. The product is packaged well, with plenty of packaging material to protect the finish of the parts. Please be aware that unless you happen to place the cabinet just perfectly on your wall, your likelihood of hitting 4 studs (as called for in the instructions) are slim to none. The mounting bracket the cabinet sits on consists of a metal bracket with evenly spaced holes drilled in it, rather than slots. This means that the bracket has a finite number of ways it may be mounted to the wall, and unless you use the outermost couple of holes, you will not hit four studs. In order to center the cabinet in the space I wanted, I was able to hit three studs, and then used a 75-lb drywall anchor on one end. So far, no problems, but we'll see in the long run. Another area for improvement is the secondary way of securing the cabinet to the wall. There are slots routed in the back wall of the cabinet where you are supposed to drill another hole into the studs and secure with a screw and washer. This slot is only a couple of inches below where the mounting bracket is attached to the wall. It seems to me that if the slots in the back wall of the cabinet were routed closer to the bottom of the cabinet, you'd get more distance between the mounting bracket and the secondary means of securing the cabinet, and it would be therefore a bit more secure. Finally, the whole construction of the cabinet could be improved. Whenever I assemble particleboard furniture like this, I always use glue to help set the dowels. Unfortunately, this product uses plastic dowels, rather than wood, so not sure how much good my gluing did.All in all, though, the cabinet looks great and holds everything I need it to: cable box, home theater receiver, Wii, Blu-Ray player and some accessories. I like it. Recommend it to others.

Product was easy to assemble. Would have taken 40 minutes but i tried to do it without reading all directions. Mounting states. It requires two people but i easily did so my myself. Product is typical particle board. seems well designed and is very good looking once completed. Overall. For the price. It is better than or as good as many of the other higher priced wall units i looked at. Would very much recommend. 2019 update. Unit still looks good but metal bracket failed. Bracket began bending allowing unit to pull away from wall. Cabinet screw reinforcements need to prevent unit from coming away from the wall

Upon opening the packaging, I unwrapped the product and picked up the first piece of the unit. Almost immediately, I noticed a minor scratch in the inner console. I could have lived with that... however, once placing the first piece down and going for a second piece - I saw another piece broken beyond repair (in half). There was yet again another piece with the same damage. I called South Shore directly who informed me that based on the entire unit being more than 50% damaged - they were unable to send replacement parts and they could not offer me any assistance. I was encouraged to call Amazon directly. Thankfully, Amazon provided a full refund.The unit was a great color and was the perfect size... too bad I was never able to assemble it.

This product is sturdy and easy to assemble, but there is one major thing that I am highly annoyed with. Only one side of each wood shelf and top and bottom panels are finished with a veneer, and the other side is raw particleboard. So depending on your angle of view, you might see a bunch of ugly unfinished wood. If you are going to mount this very low on the wall I suppose it would be fine until you are laying on the floor watching a movie, then bam, there is that ugly unfinished wood again. I was very disappointed.

Purchased this in October 2020 and writing this review in June 2021. Wanted to clean up our TV area, which included removing a large TV stand, hiding wires, etc. Wanted something clean that could at least house a center speaker and AV receiver. This one does the job and looks great. Takes two people to properly hang on the wall, and I wouldn't put anything heavy beyond the aforementioned components on/in it. I also had to drill out the back in the proper place to allow space for our wall outlet. Appreciate the manufacturer's focus on eco-friendly materials, and they offer a good warranty term. Completely happy with this unit.

This is a great entertainment stand.We have a 55" TV mounted on the wall just above this stand, and a sound bar that sit on it.We have our Comcast cable box, Playstation 4, Xbox One, router, and console remote charging station all in this entertainment stand.Having the entertainment stand mounted on the wall really does open up the room and makes it look less crowded.The cabinet itself is a very modern and stylish look. You can see the wood grain in the sliding cabinets. The color matches dark wood furniture pretty well. There are holes in the entertainment center that allow the cords to be easily hidden. In the picture attached, we had little opportunity to change how the cords looked due to our place being a rental.Our only complaint is that the plugs with larger heads didn't easily fit through the wiring holes. We were still able to make it work, but it wasn't as easy as expected. We ended up drilling a larger hole.For the price this is a great entertainment center! We compared a few (Ikea, target, and smaller ones on Amazon) and this was the winner. I highly recommend this product to help open your living room but still but useful enough to hold all your electronics. It does look really nice.

This is the best purchase on Amazon I have ever made. This console system looks beautiful in my living room and has held up wonderfully. It was easy installation and fun to build. Watch the instructions carefully. You will need help to hang it on the wall. It holds up a lot of weight into of it and makes my living room appear cleaner because my consoles can be hidden away on the drawer.

The product came very quickly and was in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. I have a lot of experience building these sorts of things. I do recommend having at least two people. I love the finished look. I hid all the wires behind the wall and the look is very clean.

There was a hairline crack in the top piece of the console. Box is extremely heavy make sure you mount it on the wall studs; we also added extra screws in the wall, as we didn't feel the wall attachment provided was strong/secure enough.

Le montage de se meuble et très facile et l'installation elle est aussi très simple.Tant qu'a la a qualité du produit, il faut faire attention lors du montage et de l'installation car se sont seulement des panneau de mélamine.Il y a un conduit au dessus et en dessous du meuble pour passé les fils, les tablettes ne touche pas le fond du meuble pour pouvoir passer des fils du centre du meuble a toute les tablettes.Bémol, les tablette ne touche pas au fond pour laisser passer les fil mais pour il peut être compliquer de faire passé une fiche électrique d'un barre de courant, même voir impossible.De plus, les panneaux de mélamine dessus/dessous du meuble ne sont pas recouvert de noir sur la partie non visible (dessous) comme le dessus des panneaux.

Product arrived in two days without any damage. It took me under one hour to put everything together quite easily. I took away one star because it has to be mounted above the electrical outlet and so some wires were visible as seen in the picture. Otherwise, I am very happy with the purchase.
