I ran into a problem where I needed a longer tool with grip than what I had...sock sucked up into the vacuum hose. So, what the heck, I need 12 inch hemostats! They were long enough to reach the offending item and I was able to clear the hose and put my vacuum back into use. I might never use them again, but they are now permanent fixtures win my tool box, just win case.

They seem to be sturdy and of a good weight. They were plenty long enough for what we needed them for. We used them to reach parts inside of a very small area.

I should have looked closer as these have the little locking tabs and for me to use them effectively, I'll probably have to cut those off.

Excellent quality

These really were crucial to my recent work on my valve covers (replacement) and in my oil paint tranfers to empty tubes. The straight forceps were used to roll the ends of the tubes to create a rolled seal. I also used them to help grasp difficult areas of the wiring harnesses to pull them out of the working space in my truck. They are easy to use and clamp. The length was enough to reach the back of the hood. The tip has great strength and I pinched the rolled area of the paint tube to seal. I think they were worth the money.
