The Detangle Hair Brush is awesome. I am in love and can STRONGLY recommend it. I really needed a new brush after my Ebilin “tangle teezer” fell apart after 3 years (fair enough I got it for £5 in a drugstore). Also did it come with a metal pick comb which I not possessed before (another plus point). It detangled my hair easily without pulling it. At the same time does it define my 3c-4c hair (I got mixed strands of hair 4 a/b in majority (I uploaded pictures for better understanding/seeing the definition)), which only the Denman 9 row brush could do but that took around 1 hour. This brush on the other side did that in 10 minutes with less effort. Super convenient since hair wash day takes hours already anyway. Also would I like to mention that my shedding was never so low like with this brush, plus several hours later in a bun it was still detangled! I can imagine that this brush work great on straight hair as well. I bought it for £6.11 through the lightning deal but would have paid the original price of £7.99.

I really like this brush. I find that it tugs less on my hair when detangling it, and therefore does not hurt and does not put as much tension or strain on my hair, reducing breakage. I love the clips, they hold really well and I found that when positioned comfortably, I could sleep in them, as well as use them for sectioning and styling my hair. I would have preferred a tail comb to have been included, instead of the afro comb, as it would have been more useful when sectioning my hair.

I bought this for myself, I have long thick hair and was clinging onto my old style brush too afraid to plunge into any new styles. When it arrived I thought it was so well presented in a nice box it could easily make a nice gift. No sooner had it arrived when my other half shouted to me that our eldest daughter’s hair (she’s 7) was in a terrible tangle. She’d been playing in the paddling pool in the garden but to look at her it was like someone had back combed her hair then ironed it 😱 I genuinely thought we’d have to cut it, she’s got lovely long hair and I’ll admit I was feeling panicky as was she. This sounds made up but honestly this brush had only been in the house about an hour unused ready for the morning so I broke it out of it’s box thinking let’s see what this can do. It’s a strange looking thing which I expected and I honestly didn’t think it could take on the mess I was looking at. I couldn’t believe how easily this thing dealt with it (I’d tried my brush and her little detangler first with absolutely no impact). Within 5 minutes her hair was restored to it’s former glory and she really enjoyed the sensation of the brushing saying it was very relaxing. I’ve since used it on both my daughter’s hair and none of the usual “ouch, ow”. I haven’t tried it myself yet but the fact this undoubtedly saved my daughter’s hair it has to be awarded 5 stars 🌟

Its ok, detangles well but the brush itself keeps coming apart.

Great hairbrush for afro hair. It's flexible, easy to clean and can be used to brush vertically or horizontally, depending on how you want to handle the knotty bits. You have to be careful, though.. don't start off with the expectation of instant 'miracle' detangling. It can take a fair bit of time and effort if you've neglected your locks like I had.. but it definitely made the job a LOT easier. Once the big knots were out, it went through like a dream and was great for distributing product as well. So, now I'm past the hard part, I really think it'll be a huge help in maintaining a healthy, tangle-free 'fro. Very happy with it! 🙂

This detangling brush works brilliantly for my wife’s hair and she absolutely loves it you get a great quality well made brush you also get a little clip to stop the brush from moving if you want to use this as a normal brush included the plastic used for this brush are very strong thick and sturdy so it should last really well you get a free Afro comb which is also brilliant quality and my wife also got a little clip brush/comb which opens and closers overall everything you get in this packaged and the quality of the item and included piece are definitely worth the £8.99 price tag I highly recommend it fast dispatch and delivery too with prime
