OtterBox ALPHA GLASS Screen Protector for iPhone Xs & X - Retail Packaging - CLEAR

I normally dread buying stuff like this without someone that works with electronics to apply it, but it came with everything I needed to clean my phone screen and apply it with no problem. It came with a tool to place over your phone to ensure it went on straight. The instructions were clear and it came with a cloth to clean your screen.

This screen protector is extremely hard to put on without damaging it and making spots on your screen. I am stuck because of my phone choice so I have to repeat this process and order another one and this time try not to get any dust or anything on the inside of it. It is very difficult to install and overall I am very unhappy about the results.

I assumed that Otterbox, being a leader in the industry, would produce a quality screen protector. Now, I am not so sure. I have bought 3 now, 2 from Amazon and the first direct from Otterbox, all for the same phone. I'm certain that this frequency of breakage isn't normal. This product is not durable enough.

I had no trouble installing this. The screen wipe and microfiber cloth cleaned well, no dust, also used the cloth to clean my laptop screen it's handy. The directions say push the bubbles to the side, I had some bubbles, I put it all the way down and didn't peel, then used the cloth to firmly push any bubbles to the side and they went away fine. You have to put the screen in right side up, there is a notch in it that will match the black gap in your screen at the top when it's lit. If you put it in upside down you'll have a gap on your visible screen at the bottom. Even with the guide I'd watch the edges, guide works well but there can still be a millimeter there. I had the screen lit when applying and let it go dark to check for and get rid of bubbles. Combined this with the defender case. Everything went fine. Responsiveness for me is the same as the uncovered screen as well.

This screen protector is weak sauce.Honestly nothing happens to my phone and it cracks over nothing. I’m on my third thinking the others were defective. The second cracked after 3 days, this one, after one day.I’m done wasting my money on such a poor product

I thought this would be a great screen protector . I was wrong . I never dropped my phone or it it anything by accident . I looked at my phone tonight and along the side it was cracked. I even have a phone case .

otterbox really dropped the ball. quality=0 ease of putting on phone properly=-2 functionality=-5you gotta be kidding me with this worthless garbage. beyond a waste of money. buy it if you wanna be pissed off

The item was easy to install but did not last long before a visible crack towards the top of the screen. I did not take it off my phone yet. I will contact the seller to correct the item.

Used Otterbox Alpha Glass on my phone for 5 years, and it’s been immaculate. Replaced it only once after dropping phone onto a polished concrete floor which shattered the aplha glass, but left my phone in pristine condition (it did it’s job perfectly). So buying a new iPhone I immediately ordered the appropriate Aplha Glass to go on it. Impressed it now comes with a template, and following the instructions exactly, it was very easy to apply. However, really frustratingly, the polishing cloth put loads of dust on the screen (there being no dust on it before as i’d literally just peeled the film off my new phone). This dust of course only reveals itself once the Aplha Glass is stuck on, which is too late to do anything about. Then tidying away the packaging, out falls a ‘dust removal sticker’ from amongst the warranty booklet, which has no mention in the instructions, so didn’t know i’d missed it. Like rubbing salt into the wound! The moral of the story - make sure you use it before applying the glass!

I literally just dropped my phone few days ago and was amazed about this screen protector. No crack, no broken, and it was dropped from my food tray down to floor.Well, must say the floor was wooden and I wouldn’t dare to challenge with harder floor but still not weak or easy to be broken. And to be accurate, it was the 5th time I dropped (in 3 years) 😭. It’s a pity that they don’t have product for Ipad.

I ordered one of these for my iphone xr and yes it did the job, however i managed to damage it after about 5 months so i needed to replace it. i wasn't happy about the price so i ordered a generic version instead. £6 for 4 and they work just as well and include all the fitting accessories and it fits in the otterbox defender caseSearch for LK [4 PACK Screen Protector for iPhone 11 / iPhone XR

Have installed Ottorbox glass on two previous iPhones without issue, however noticed a few subtle changes in how the protector was stored pre-application which resulted in an absolute mess.If you don’t have a perfect application first time and need to make adjustments then it looks awful. As soon as you pull-up one corner with a fingernail then that corner loses all adhesion for the next application.Problem is the applicator template is the wrong size for a perfect fit and the sticky side of the glass attracts dust the moment you remove it’s protective sheet so getting it right first time, especially on an active screen (don’t do it on a black/off screen or the alignment will be off), is near on impossible.Fortunately Amazon refunded a my first two attempts otherwise I’d have given up. First time I messed up and two corners wouldn’t peel down, however I assumed it was my fault so bought a second glass, which when I had the same issue with I called for a refund on the first glass and a replacement for the second which Amazon kindly obliged to.Got it right on the 3rd glass by being VERY careful, not using the template, and keeping the iPhone switched on during application. Albeit a few micro particles of dust are still there which I’m choosing to ignore rather than adjusting the glass and screwing it up again.

I ordered this product and a dust removal sticker came with it - although it didn't mention in the instructions where to use it - resulting in my Otterbox screen not going on very well causing a lot of irritating screen bubbles.Otherwise the quality is good but I've now had to go buy a new cover.Could be my fault - but couldn't see anything related to the dust remover in the instructions?
