Moon Dance

Great little book. My daughter had checked this out from the local public library for my four-month-old grandson. He seemed fascinated by the sparkles in the book. He would look at the pages for a long time, and would reach out and feel the cut outs. She said it was going to be a sad day when she had to return the book to the library. So what else could a good grandmother do but to purchase the book for the baby. I was a little leery of purchasing a used book. But it said it was in very good condition so I thought I would give it a shot. I'm glad that I did. He received the book in the mail in only a few days, just before the other one had to be returned to the library. Now I think I'm going to have to be on the look out for other books in the series. If a book can gain the attention of a four-month-old baby it has to be good. Of course we think he's a baby genius!

My granddaughter received the first copy at around 6 months of age. She is 14 months now and she is still crazy about this book. The only bad thing is it easy for a child to destroy. This is my second copy because she ripped the glue apart and some pages.

Magnificent art by Christian Riese Lassen with shiny, colorful, foil details to catch the eye of any young person. Lovely story brings you to another place - an underwater bliss. Very enjoyable for the parent and child. Totally love it.

Book was exactly as expected. It shipped really quickly. I was using for my daycare and our ocean theme for the week. Kids really enjoyed it.

The story is simple and the illustrations are vibrant and beautiful with colored foil like accents. Both our toddler and us can stare at the pages and get lost in the beautiful pictures!

Me and my Lo love this book. It's one of our library staples, and there isn't a whole lot of books like it. It is beautifully illustrated.

Very happy

I got this book for my two month old daughter and she loves it!!! I thought it would be a great book for her to grow into - Right now she's just captivated by the vivid colors and hearing the sound of my voice as I read it to her... But I'm sure that as she grows a little older, it will be a book she will not only love to read out loud but also always love to look at. And just a side note, the age range for this book should start much earlier - It has very simple words making up very simple sentences.As far as the rating goes, I would have really given this book 4 stars because like another person said, it is just not as great as it could be - the page space could definitely be utilized a little better. But because my daughter loves it sooo much, it gets all five stars.My personal issue with the book is that each page has only two very short sentences which really should be constructed as one sentence with the two parts separated with a comma or semi-colon.All in all though, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and not disappointed one bit :)
