This pack is great for those who need to start playing this game as if has everything you need plus some additions. The box can also be used to add a couple of expansion packs, the art is beautiful, and the cards feel great in your hands.

Yes, it's similar to Dominion. But it's different enough to be worth checking out in it's own right.Basically you're engaged in a war of succession, to back the princess of your choice, and see her wear the crown! You pick the cards that will be up for grabs like in Dominion but UNLIKE Dominion there will some cards available, and some NOT available at times. There are also cards of which there is ONE copy so you have a gambit to pull off if you want them.Then there are princess cards, a "domain" where you can move action cards and succession cards ("succession points" win the game). There's also the interesting option to put your NEGATIVE value succession cards into your domain to PERMANENTLY lower your score...to keep them out of your deck permanently and help get the good cards into your hand. In other words, very interesting gambits to play here.Also, yeah, player "Actions" are gone, thank god. Instead you just use the "links" on cards to play more cards.This is a "streamlined" version of Dominion and I like it a lot more, if only because now everything is anime. :D

At first I was confused as to how the arrow mechanic on the cards worked. But then I understood it and loved! No longer do I feel I need to count how many actions I have and instead dump dead end cards (with no arrows meaning actions) at the bottom arrow on a card and use the other right arrow that lets me keep playing combos! Love the theme and the game. Will buy more expansions.

It ’s a Dominion clone, but I like it more than Dominion.Because there are only 5 kingdom cards (common cards), it is difficult for each player to have the same card deck configuration.Moreover, instead of choosing the type of supply for each type of card, all the kingdom cards are shuffled into a pile and replenished to the card storage area, so you need luck to get the cards you want.In particular, the winning condition of the game is to attach the princess that you have supported to the throne (just like A Game of Thrones ), so you can't win no matter how many victory points you put in your card deck.

I was shipped Heart of Crown Fairy Garden instead of the original base game. It's one of those, oh darn.... might as well keep it kind of scenarios. I'll just purchase the base game from another distributor.These games are blast though.

I love this game! 5 stars for both the game and the cards. I love the drawings on them. If you enjoy anime and deck-building card games, you will likely enjoy this.Also good for a first-time deck builder

The game is very fun with lots of customization options that help keep it from feeling stale after a few games.
