Gave it 4 stars based solely on the cool factor. Not overwhelmed by the factory edge, but definitely has the mass to be effect when breaking down larger cuts of meat. It is a great accent to my Rosewood Block and will be a cool addition to my BBQ setup.

I was asked to slice a roast at a friend's party, and this was handed to me. I IMMEDIATELY bought one for my own kitchen. Love it

This was my sons big Christmas gift . I expected it to arrive in a professional looking box that would be presentable! Instead it was mailed in a bubble envelope. I am very dissapointed! The commercials show the knife in a nice box.

I really was hoping for it to have been made in eastern Europe, but it is made in China. Which is totally fine, but meh. It also had this weird oil coating on it, probably to protect it from humidity and water. I'll probably take a wire wheel to it just to clean up that dark coat of unknown substrate. It is a neat design; however, I am after utility. Otherwise, the knife is easy to hold and handle. I'll use it for larger cuts of meat (clod and brisket).
