I have lots of Kenmetal and other premium tools, these are as good! I have used them quite a lot and find them excellent in quality. Seven 3/4 inch tools for 149.00 is a bargain. I bought inserts, 10 of each (40 total) for under 50.00. The cut off tool works much better than my Kenmetal, I broke two of those (300.00). I have been doing machine tool work for many years, I recommend these.

Great kit for students like myself. Well made, nothing low quality about the tooling. How ever only giving 4 stars for lack of spare inserts. Had the wcmt32.51 break on me due to badly rusted and pitted bar stock(about .150 of bad outer material) we have to use at school and was not able to use it since it came with no spares. Would be great if you could buy replacement inserts in packs of 5 vs the 10 pack(student on tight budget). Other than that, there's nothing bad about them. Would definitely reccomend them. Best feature is the positive rake, but that's just my preference.

Fits my old Rivett 1020S metal lathe perfectly. Barely used it yet but the one I tried cuts beautifully.
