Armada called in for Air Support
I reviewed these guys in their original incarnation, albeit overpriced, so this review for this set, are a 5 star homerun. I cannot recommend this enough, check out youtube reviews if you don't believe me, but here's the basic concept: Generation 2 street cred of beef, missiles with a huge dose of awesome. Dreadwind is the big beefy bomber that could, and by could I mean turn into a stealth bomber, a sort of tank, and a huge robot that I could see bouncing at the decepticon club on the wrong side of cybertron. He can hold Smokejumpers guns, but with missiles on his wings, and a huge 6 missile cannon on his shoulder, his weapons capacity is pretty much maxed out. Smokejumper is a sleek little jet, the kind of decepticon who would bite off more than he can chew then call on dreadwind to clean up the mess he started. Smokejumper is a little complex on the transformation, but the end result is a nice little jet to robot combo. In their jet and bomber modes Smokejumper can combine with dreadwind, to make a super bomber jet, which is another awesome feather in this figures cap. I am glad they repainted and re-released these guys as Armada, this line needed it, go figure Hasbro would call in the pros to fix the mess that Armada made, Strongly recommend this.
