I'm surprised by these shorts. As a plus size woman that's stocky, short, and carries most of my weight around my midsection, finding a pair of shorts that was comfortable around the waist and still could flatter me by not making me look stumpy or make my legs look shorter can be a chore. I was wearing running style shorts, but it was annoying either having to pull the waistband back up, or pull the hems down when material was bunching up between my thighs. I know those problems could be somewhat avoided if I lost weight, but until then I'm incredibly happy I found these RBX shorts.I mainly purchased these because it's getting hot where I live and wanted a pair of shorts that were appropriate to wear to work. I needed something in a knee length that wasn't gym shorts. I haven't found a pair of denim shorts that looked decent, so I figured these would pass because they remind me of men's golf shorts and don't look like the usual fare for exercise shorts. Being as I can be anywhere from a 16 to a 20 depending on the brand of jeans, I ordered a 1X and 2X to try and found the 1X fit a lot better/more flattering than the 2X, which looked baggy on me.Right off the bat I was impressed with these. For the material being as thin as it is, I was surprised at how you couldn't see much of a panty line. I tried on a brief style, and then a cheeky style that had a lace trim, and although the cheeky one was less visible than the brief, the flowy nature of the shorts still did a good job disguising the seam lines on the brief style. There are two pockets, and they're more on the front side of the shorts, like on a pair of jeans, than built into the side seams. The hem falls just above my knee, but still looks appropriate for where I work. The first day I wore them and was driving around they weren't constricting around the thigh, nor did the waistband cut into me. When I was out walking, not once did I need to adjust the waistband or feel the need to pull at the hem to keep them from riding up in the crotch. It was honestly a breath of fresh air not having that added worry of knowing I'd have to keep an eye on how my clothes were going to act.If you like to be comfortable in warmer weather, a little bit modest, and not worry about common plus size shorts problems like creeping up between your legs, these are amazing shorts. I'll be wearing mine for work, errands, lounging around at home, and generally living in them this summer. I've already ordered more pairs so I'm stocked up because the quality is too good to just have one pair.

Update! Love the 1x. This pic is the 1x. I’m still a size 20/22. Love the fabric.Originally, I ordered a 2x. I am a size 20 at Lane Bryant or Kohl’s. These are a little big. I am going to tailer them in....but wish they just fit! The length is great. The fabric is great.

these are AMAZING. Fit wonderful, and definitely the best workout shorts I have come across. I am a size 2X, and work out I a regular basis. I prefer these to the bicycle shorts most people wear. Definitely give extra room in the hip and thigh, which I need. They don’t crawl up my crotch, and help keep chafing at bay. I actually ordered a second pair.

I’m plus size and it can be really hard to find athletic shorts in my size that aren’t super short. These have a long inseam, are true to size and roomy pockets so I can carry keys and my phone when I’m out. They have held up through several washings so far. Tip: If you really like this brand, there are more plus size options on their website and the sale prices are hard to beat!

These shorts are very light weight . Plenty room . I ordered a 3xl will be orded more. Made with excellent stitching for a plus size women. Length is perfect .

These are perfect, just what I had been looking for. Not too long or too short, lightweight, and comfortable. I bought the 2x and they fit well; I'm typically a size 18 in pants and dresses. I wish they came in more colors, grey, navy, purple, red, I would buy several more pairs if they did.

Absolutely love these! Tried them on as soon as I got them! Perfect length and very loose. Not tight in any spots, was even a little loose around the waist part. Very comfortable. Plan on using them as a pair of river shorts, but do plan on buying more for every day wear!

I like these so much that I keep going into my previous orders to add them to my cart. Comfortable and has pockets!! Important because a lot of gym shorts don't. These also keep me cool in hot temperatures.The shorts have become a bit pricey though. 😔
