Awed by the power of and astonishing range and precision of the current measurement and observation capability. The authors are clearly well versed on the leading edge and provide an entertaining and clear review of where field of General Relativity is now.

A must-read to learn about the recent history of our understanding of gravity. It is carefully written and makes powerful analogies that explain the concepts behind without compromising the science—perfect gift for gravity enthusiasts.

While the book goes through all sorts of great stories about gravity, it leaves me a little underwhelmed. It’s not the subject.Maybe it’s me, I’m just too familiar with the physics. The whole thing starts off negative with the usual unsubstantiated claims about the superiority of QM, then relaxes into some nice tales.
