My Cat Likes It
This gel has been a lifesaver for my cat. It’s easy to give, and my cat actually likes the taste, which makes things so much simpler. Since starting it, I’ve noticed fewer flare-ups and overall better health. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the results.

Boosts immunity, helps pets, great product!
Lysine is an immune booster & very helpful for immunocompromised cats & dogs. My vet prescribed lysine for my dog that I measured out & sprinkled on his food. Then my 21 yr old kitty caught a cold while I was sick too & vet prescribed lysine in this gel Viralys form daily for him in his old age to help keep him from getting sick. He lived to be 23! The gel form is much easier to give to cats & they either like the flavor or can’t tell when it’s on their food (I’m not sure which); & can be put directly on the tongue if using a syringe. I just put a 1cc needle-less syringe to the tip of the Viralys tube & draw while squeezing a tiny bit on the tube & no waste/no mess. I just put 0.5cc on top of my kitty’s canned food once a day & the tube lasts quite a long time for 1 cat, so not bad! Sadly, he was my little antique by time he reached his 23rd b-day & departed. I’m now using Viralys to help keep a FeLV very immunosuppressed cat from getting sick (along w/ no exposure to other cats or any sick people & keeping her indoors only) so she can live a happy life as long as possible w/o succumbing to every virus & bug that comes near. It’s a challenge but one of love. So I immediately started her on Viralys in hopes that it might help even in this severe case. For most pets, this is hands down a very good choice!! The verdict is still out in the case of the cat I’m trying to help that has essentially no immunity at all, but it sure won’t hurt her & just might help a little too. I do know it’s a great product from my own past experience & also because it was vet reccommended for my sweet ancient little guy as well as previous knowledge & use of lysine for people & dogs.

Absolutely effective…
Our family recently lost our beloved Dobie, and it was very stressful for our Feline pack, which has been with her since they were kittens.I was skeptical of this product, but my vet recommended it, so…. First, my Siamese hated it, so to help dose her, I filled a half teaspoon into a plunger syringe—see photo.Simply insert the plunger into the bottle, squeeze the tube, and pull back the plunger. I used a 1/2 teaspoon measure on the first to ensure I knew the dose and marked the plunger for subsequent use.Trying to get her to take it was a chore, but with some patience and love, I've been able to use this method. We are on dose 6, and there has been marked improvement daily. This morning, she is back to her daily bird watching and snuggles. This is an economical, highly effective alternative to steep vet bills and prescription meds.

GLAD I FOUND THIS
My cat, Ginger, is 15. Recently she became sick, would hardly eat, had runny eyes and congestion. Vet said she had a very high fever, gave her a antibiotic shot...and injected a bag of fluid in her. She was much better the very next day. But a couple of days later, she seemed like she might be regressing. My daughter came over and when I told her Ginger's symptoms, she said, "It sounds like she has feline herpes". She has four cats who all deal with it! She ran home, came back with her Viralys gel, and coaxed Ginger to take some from my daughter's finger. She kept offering it to her, and thankfully, Ginger kept licking. Daughter gave me the rest of the tube and told me to offer Ginger all she would take, since she had been feeling so bad. The very next day, the eyes stopped running. Te congestion disappeared! Fever was gone! I'm sure the antibiotic injection from the Vet, helped, but it was only after taking in the maple flavored ointment that she came out of it. That was about three weeks ago. Ginger has been eating well, put some weight back on. Seems her usual 15 year old self, thank God! I bought the powder, and treats, also. because some days she doesn't seem to like the ointment, or the treats. I offer all three daily. I figure between the three products, she will hopefully get the 500mg recommended dosage.. I have two other cats, who seem fine, but I offer the treats...which reminds me, I read that a possible side affect, esp with the treats is diarrhea. Haven't had to deal with that! The treats are very hard so it's not easy for two of my "old" cats to eat them. One, who is younger just loves the treats. This is the longest review I've ever done, but I wanted to share this story. I really believe Ginger's immune system was very weak and the l-lysine brought it back to normal. I won't be without l-lycine. I will mention that I saw another brand in Amazon I plan to try. It is made in the USA and is salmon flavor. That way, if she bucks on the maple, she probably will take the salmon...and it's about $5 cheaper, too. Heading now to go do a review on the powder. God bless!

Easy to administer - Cat actually likes taste!
Easy to dispense and mix into wet food. Mom’s picky cat will actually consume. In the week following week the introduction of product, I could actually see a difference in cat’s eyes - reduced irritation and discharge. This product seems to be helping.

Great way to save on vet bills
After our last flareup the vet gave us a tube to try. The cat sounds his best in years! Recommended to others who have kitties with herpes, it’s a great support for their system and must taste as good as it smells, we’ve not had any complaints.
