GrisportUnisex's Icarus Hiking Shoe

I bought these shoes for mountain biking (as I have a pair of Giro shoes with cleats that use the same Vibram sole as these) and to me, they seem perfect for this use. I recently got caught in a deluge and got soaked through, with the exception of my feet, so these proved to water proof to a level for what I wanted.I've also done a couple of coastal walks over hilly and rocky terrain and these have proven to be very comfortable with a firm grip. The size was spot on and as others have said, they also look good, so highly commendable by me!

Okay so far, comfortable, water proof, bits of grit easily get down the sides, sole wearing quick but I do use everyday from 5-8 miles

Only had these a few days but the difference it made having a pair a well made shoes with a decent sole on them. I'm on my feet most of the day and I can honestly say these shoes have made that so much more comfortable than my previous trainers.

Only had these a few days (I have tried over 6 different walking shoes - after extensive research) and settled on these following my research and actually trying them at Home. Not the cheapest but certainly outshone the cheaper ones I tried on.It was important that these were comfortable, hard wearing and waterproof.I have worn them every day and walked about 4 miles first time - comfortable and no issues. So basically ready to go out of the box.Not had much rain so cant confirm if they are truly waterproof but I have been through long wet grass and feet dry. Will update again when the rain arrives.Would certainly recommend.

Had that dreaded Plantar faciitus. Just asked the sales man for comfortable shoes and he immediately suggested these. I bought another pair a few weeks later, just to have "in stock". The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Even good for IKEA shopping.

Attractive walking shoe that provides comfort, support, dryness and hard wearing for a seasoned dog walker.
