LOVE THESE LIGHTS BUYING MORE COLORS!!
Amazing!!!Pros. Worked ALL NIGHT LONG. Put it up last night and it's still going strong 12 hours later.Petite lights on a nice light green strand that is perfect for delicate yard plants that you want to sparkle. Several modes from slow moving strobe, solid light pattern, to pulsating fast. Great enhancement for the yard at holiday times.*works year roundNo electricity so great for camping!!Easy "set up". Unwrap box. Place in desired location. BAM insta party lights.Cons: not as bright as 110v lights. I only list this as a con because some people might be expecting super bright lights similar to plug in 110v lights. These are a delicate small bulb but so worth the price.

Versatility
I bought this to put in a lantern that hangs at my seasonal campsite at Lake Champlain. They are very pretty blinking and are very durable. Love them. Need to get another set for my other lantern.

Great selection of cycling flash patterns - not just flashing and steady!
This is a nice string of lights and they work well, charge on cloudy days and have lots and lots of settings for light variations. The description says steady and flashing but of the flashing choices there are 7 or 8 possibilities from a very slow alternating brighten and dim of alternate colors to very energetic flashes as well as multiple combination programs that cycle through multiple types of on and off light displays. If I had it to do over I would have gotten either a longer string or multiple strings. This is good for a pyramidal arbor vitae or regular Christmas tree but for a bigger tree like a crab apple it isn't enough.

It's a party in my yard!
So far, it does exactly what I wanted it to do...decorate my front yard light post while using no commercial power. There are, however, a few things I'd like to mention:First, it comes with a 1800 mah (milliamp-hour) rechargeable battery, so I immediately replaced the battery with a 2500 mah Duracell for nearly 40% more capacity. This will not only make the lights stay lit longer with a full charge, it may also help for days when there isn't a lot of sun to recharge the battery, i.e., it may last more than one night without a full recharge. So far, the lights have lasted overnight every night, even after a couple of dull, dark, rainy days. I use the "slow shift" mode in which the lights slowly alternate between blue-green only to red-yellow only. this effectively means that only half of the lights are lit at any one time, saving battery power, but still displaying different colors over time.Second, except for "constant on" and "slow shift," the many "modes" are essentially useless to me, and the one I REALLY want isn't available (ability to display only blue and green or red and yellow). This accounts for the lack of the fifth star in my rating.Last, one should keep in mind that these are 200 (!) LEDs powered by a single AA-size rechargeable battery. They aren't even close to being as bright as AC-powered lights (they're tiny "fairy lights"), so don't expect a magnificent, eye-squinting display, but they're certainly bright enough to be seen from quite a distance, and they make fine decorations.I'd buy them again...especially if they last, which is still yet to be determined.

Solar+LED?! Amazing.
I bought these to decorate my back porch for a party three weeks ago and haven't taken them down because they're awesome! I got a white strand as well for indoors. The multicolor ones outside charged fully in about seven hours, albeit in Kansas on a summer afternoon. They stayed on all night and have operated perfectly for weeks now. I would give this product a six star review of I could though, and here's why: the strand I bought to put inside charges with the solar panel in a south facing window all day, and if I cover up the solar panel after charging, as other reviewers suggested, this strand will stay on for over 24 HOURS!So yes, I would recommend these to anyone with the rather obvious caveat that they are solar, so the length of time they stay lit is directly proportional to the amount of sunlight the solar panel absorbs.

I was pleasantly surprised
The lights are very small but very bright. Not as bright as electric mini lights but quite sufficient for their size. It has it's own sensor so it will turn itself on when it gets dark enough. Mine lasted through the season and was still working fine when I packed it away. The battery is supposed to last for 10,000 hours. Mine was on every night from dusk until dawn From Dec 12th to Jan 6th. That's about 250 hours. So if it makes it through the summers in storage it should last for many years. The solar panel is on a spike so it can be moved if needed. That came in handy.

Great Lights, But Not So Great In The Rain
These are very pretty and they worked great at first. But we had a couple of days of steady rain and the lights have been dimming and going out intermittently, and the different modes seem scrambled when I try to change the setting. I had the solar collector mounted outside against a rock wall, high enough that there was no exposure to puddled or standing water - the best I can figure, the rain running down the wall somehow got into the collector, even though it was advertised for indoor/outdoor use. It has only been a couple of days since the rain, maybe the collector will dry out and they will work again. The price was very reasonable, so I'm not that upset. If I get another set like this I will try to mount the solar collector under an overhang with enough exposure to get full sunlight, but protected from direct rain.

Charge Only Lasts 3 Hours
Although I like this product, the charge only lasts about 3 hours, instead of the 6-8 hours indicated on the instructions. This may be because of low levels of sunlight in the northern hemisphere at this time of year.
