Already up to scratch with this new different set of scales.
I already have two scales like these but the lockdown trapped me away from home so as time went on I realised you can't cook without scales unless you want to be bored silly.Ha Ha you will laugh at this. I had been cleaning my black Kindle 10 with its case off and went to answer the phone. Back in my chair I reached for my kindle to check emails and it would not turn on. Yes, I was trying to switch on my new scales. I wonder if there is a Kindle case that would fit with easy removal for weighing . It would save the glass fascia from accidents.I learnt very quickly how to change metric to imperial and how to switch the scale to zero with my little mixing bowl sat on it.IIt looks so new fangled on the work top. It slid under my herb rack that stands at the back of the worktop already find its niche but it needs an easily removable cover. Mmmmmmmmmm ?

Extremely inaccurate
When I first received these, I was happy with them and they worked well, however 2 months in and they not accurate at all, the numbers just keep reducing, for instance if you are weighing out 500g flour and you put your bowl on, reset to 0 and then start to add flour using a scoop or pouring it in directly, you can add once scoop which may weigh 100g and you turn to your container to get another scoop and by the time you turn back the scales, they have started to move backwards, so they say you have 98g and they just keep moving backwards and if you left them they would go backwards until they reach 0. Unless you can get the correct amount in at the first go, within a second they start going backwards so are no use whatsoever. I complained and the scales were replaced but the exact same thing has happened to the replacements, again worked for 2 months perfectly but now unusable.

accurate and easy to use
Love these scales. The display is bright and easy to see. They are accurate and simple to use. The only thing I am less keen on is that the buttons are on the side - my previous scales had touch sensitive buttons on the top of the scale and I found them a little less awkward than these to use. But overall a fab buy.

Inconsistent Results
Scales are nice looking, sleek, easy to clean and small enough to store awayThe issues I am seeing is that they are inconsistent with the weights. This can be dependent on where the food is place on the scale, if I put the storage canister (ie flour container) on t he table after adding to dish then the weight goes up, add item to bowl then move away it can change the weight by 2 - 5 grams.Doesn't seem to be consistent and therefore not fit for my purpose. Will be replacing with another set

TOO sensitive - won't settle on a weight
I bought Taylor specifically because it is known for accuracy. Unfortunately, the scale is too sensitive, as it even changes weight due to air currents in the room. You MUST wait at least a minute after using tare, to be sure the weight doesn't keep changing, but stays at zero and even then, once you put something in the zero'd out bowl, the weight will show and then go up or down sometimes as much as an entire ounce and will not STAY at one weight. I've weighed out an ounce of shredded cheese only for it to keep changing and end up at a negative weight. I've learned that it MUST be placed on the kitchen counter, I cannot use it at a table. This morning (on the table) I tare'd out a bowl I was putting ingredients into and it kept changing so much that it kept going to -1lb12oz. I use this for measuring food to log as I'm on a diet, but when you never know what the real weight might be, it is useless to me.
