Longest lasting for the price! Extremely Happy.
Extremely Happy! I am writing a review out of a moral obligation. This is an under-priced quality product. I Have had these (the 50 grit and the 120) for 7 months. They get used about once a week for hardened steel work, (knives and axes) including cleaning scale and rust. I and still on the first belts! I just used then to regrind a poor factory edge on three axes about 20 minutes before a local competition. Although they did not take the win against the hand honed hand axes the two axes i put in the competition came in 2nd and 3rd in almost every category. I think with daily use each belt will last about a month and even longer if you are sanding just wood. I was going to reorder but saw that i still had two of each belt left. I can not praise this products enough. I will likely never use any other 4x36 belt again.

A bit longer lasting than standard belts of this size.
Zirconia is used for the grit on this belt. Seems to hold up better than the more typical standard belt found in most hardware stores. I'm using it to sharpen chipper blades that go into my 5" PTO chipper. Unfortunately, I have been able to locate belts only as fine as 120-grit. These still do the job, and do it fairly quickly considering the blades are 1/4" thick hardened tool steel. The biggest complaint is the lack of finer grits, such as 220,320, and 400. Probably not overly important other than the finer grits would remove more of the grit marks in the blade faces, which are purely a cosmetic issue. More common steel, like angle-iron, standard grade bolts, etc., simply fade away under this belt. These cost a little more per belt, but one belt has lasted at least twice as long as the more common standard belt found in local stores, and this belt is still good at grinding my chipper blades.

Have not used yet but these are heavy duty
Building a log cabin you do a lot of sanding, over the years I've gone through more sanding belts and pads then I can count, so I've gone to ordering them from bulk low cost sites. It's not uncommon to put a new belt on my sander and have it rip apart soon as I start using it, and I happens so often that I would think it's the tool that's at fault (or the operator) and not the quality of the paper belt. So after putting on a new cheap belt from a local big box store and having it blow up the first time I touch a piece of metal to it, I decided to spend a little more money and get something with better quality. Enter Red Lable - I read the reviews and decided to give the 4x36 3 pack of belts a try, so when I opened the box I was like WOW! these things are heavy duty. So I haven't actually put them to use yet, I can tell there's a world of difference from the cheap junk I've been using. I'll update review soon as I get some time using these.

Affordable, quality and Made in the US
It's rare to find something that is reasonably priced, quality, and Made in the US. These are amazing sanding belts. I haven't used a whole lot yet, but as of now they show virtually no wear. Love them, I'll be buying more from Red Label Abrasives

Flattening hand plane metal
I refurbish 100 year old metal planes and couldn't find any sandbelts that would flatten the bottoms of the planes to a perfectly flat condition until I got my order today, I flattened 4 planes and they cut perfect nowTHANKS
