deceptive
I bought my kit from Advanced Greenergy Solutions, who said that they would underbid Amazon and Ebay if I buy direct, even if they had products posted on those sites. And they did underbid them, putting their price just slightly lower than Ebay's (yep I guess the suppliers hate Ebay and Amazon whoa~!) But you have got to love Amazon's quick shipping, so there you go.BUT...When the PFSTART product arrived, it turned out to be different than advertised. It was Pageris' second-tier foam gun, mediocre at best; less foam and cleaner than advertised (the Amazon photo contains three cans, but the package only has two, and the can of cleaner in the picture is twice the size of what I actually received.) And, Advanced Greenergy Solutions told me basically, 'tough luck, go away.'well, that stinks. So one lesson here is, don't buy from Amazon, until you email the seller, and check; because Amazon take such a big cut, we'll bid lower. ...but always and of course, make sure you're getting the product you bought. Advanced Greenergy Solutions said that Amazon's photo was outdated; however, the one on their own website was too--that's where Amazon got their image--and they still said tough luck.So...the manufacturer, the seller, and Amazon all have inaccurate product information, and none of them are willing to help the consumer. Apparently, everybody is screwing everybody here. But I still ended up paying. Be careful!UPDATE 1/14. Buying a couple more (different) guns now, and I thought I would update my experience with Todol. I should note that this gun only lasted a few months. The Pageris' fitting is plastic, flexes and is difficult to clean; the valve receiver & gasket broke off after a half-dozen cans. I own three guns at any given time, as I do a lot of airsealing and other foam work. Since the Todol one cost $110+, I figured it would outlast others. But this is definitely not the case. I have resigned myself to using cheaper guns and not counting on them lasting more than a few months in regular use. I suggest you do this too.

no more wasted cans of foam
I have been using this system for years. Unlike the big box store spray foam these cans can be used over and over until empty. This can save a ton of money over throwing away a can every 20 minutes or for each job. Plus it is more environmentally responsible. The foam cans last a long time. There are different types for different jobs (like high heat). You can switch back and forth between types. You MUST NEVER leave the gun with an empty can, you will destroy it (unless you use the gun cleaner). There are 2 version of the guns and I have tried both. For basic home sealing jobs the cheaper gun is fine. It will not all you to attach all the different tips but I never use them anyway. The gun has a knob you can turn, from off to full spray. By adjusting this you can get a tiny to large bead. You cant do this with GreatStuff. The case will not hold a can with the gun attached--really stupid design. I store the can on the gun 99% of the time. It has sat for months on end unused and was ready when I needed it.Keep a bottle of acetone in the case to clean up messes while they are wet. (also paper towels and gloves) Like with all other foams once this dries NOTHING (I am not kidding, nothing) will take it off. Wear gloves and old clothes, cover furniture etc. I clean the tip with Acetone at the end of each job or if foam starts to build up on it. If a bit dries on the tip the gun will not dispense. Close the knob. Chip out the dried stuff and you should be fine. You can never get it all out and bit by bit the tip gets plugged. You cannot expect the gun to last forever. I have had some last years and I use my gun a lot.I did have a problem where the gun was ruined and we left it in the freezing garage for 1+ years. Inside the house I unscrewed the gun because I wanted to use the full can. It burst open and foam stared running out. Needless to say it was a mess. For days my hands looked like Frankenstein. Change the can over a trash can or outside. While this green case is a good way to keep track of the cans I am not sure it is worth the extra expense. You can buy all of this separately and use your own tool box that is big enough to store the can on the gun. It will cost less this way. The case is durable, the hinges hold up, and the double plastic design helps protect the contents in case you drop it.If you store the gun on the can you need to be sure it does not get knocked around and break off. There is gun cleaner to use when you want to keep the gun off a can.99% of homes have tons of leaks that are wasting energy and making you uncomfortable. With this gun you can fix the problems as you find them. Every homeowner should have this.Kids like this stuff and they will create a disaster if they get their hands on it.
