Mom's Floral One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book

My children often ask me what it was like when I was growing up. This is a quick and easy way to record some of those memories as well as what is going on that particular day of my life.

It came out smaller than I thought it would be, but if your mom is a sentimental person this is a great gift. My mom loved it!

The cover and the simple one-line-a-day concept are what sold me on this. I didn’t read the description closely enough to know how small the journal would be until I saw it in person. (For context, the size reminds me of a pocket notebook.) When flipping through the pages, it was noticeably stiff and based on how it’s bound, I could tell it would be annoying to write in without having to really force the journal to lay flat and stay open. The biggest dealbreaker for me was how tiny the lines were. I’d say I have bigger handwriting than most people (but not giant), and there is no way I could imagine myself being able to write within the lines. Unfortunately, this is going back!

I wish I had paid closer attention when I bought three of these. I was so excited I immediately wrote my three kids names on the first page. Then I opened it to start writing and the lines are terribly small to write on. I don't have the neatest handwriting and trying to cram it on those little lines makes it impossible to read. Also the book doesn't stay open unless you really push it down. I'm afraid by year five pages will be falling out. I would have sent it back if I hadn't already written their names in it. Bummer because I was really looking forward to this!

Very cute. You can only fit like two sentences but it’s ok. The lines are a little narrow and I find I have to write kind of small. But I do enjoy the journal and think it will be a beautiful keepsake one day.

Easy to use (just a line or two a day) and creates a beautiful souvenir for any mother. Go for it!

Such a great idea and a fantastic gift for a new mom! It’s so nice to document the little things but not feel obligated to write a long entry! We will cherish the memories 5 years from now when the book is full!

I expected it would be bigger but I didn’t check the dimensions before buying. It’s about the size of my hand. But it’s very cute and good quality regardless.

Bought one for each of them, will be writing important events, quotes etc For memories:) the choice on amazon is very big, but am soGlad this one was the one I went for as it’s beautifully made, you can tell it’s going to last for years to come. You won’t regret purchasing it.
