Babar Slipcase: The classic illustrated picture book about an adventurous elephant

The fact that the print is actually in a fine script rather than the normal Roman style was NOT flagged up - so virtually impossible for a child to read but still lovely for a bedtime story. This set although in hardback, is in a small format

Now I loved these books as a child, and thought I would get for my daughter to read as she loves books, very disappointed as it joined up fancy writing and she cannot read them and its even hard for me at times my eyes are not what they were

Mini format version of the classic hardback. Shame because difficult to read and see the excellent illustration.

I bought the books as a gift for a friend's children; like me, my friend remembers Babar from when we were children. Recently I saw a trendy 'news' website decrying the books as 'French Colonialism for kids' so knew it was probably a good buy, and one in the eye for Woko Haram.
