My son worn this everyday from morning till night for 2 to 3 weeks straight. After a few days of him wearing it the costume started to fall apart. Granted my son was being a typical 8 year old boy and doing all of Spidies crazy moves so I really did not have high hopes it would last too long. The material is cheap but so is the costume, my son plays rough so I feel we got our money's worth. The only major flaw with this costume is the velcro that holds the costume on, it is two cheap tiny velcro tabs in the back and they lose there strength after one wear of the costume. Also since my son wore the costume for so long it left 2 red marks on his back. It took 2 weeks for those to go away. I think a zipper would have a better choice instead of velcro. My son still has the costume and wears it from time to time, it is very worn but that is from his rough play in it.

This was a gift and he absolutely loved it! He felt super strong with all the extra padding for muscles. I did have to wash it and there were quite a few strings I had to clip so they didn't get tangled up and such, but it survived the normal wash and dry cycles just fine. Given this is not intended to be everyday apparel, I still rate it high because it was what he wanted and suited us perfectly.

This costume looks great, but my kid put the head piece on just once, for a pre-Halloween parade, and all of the seams came apart. And I mean ALL of the seams just disintegrated. I just spent 40 minutes sewing the head piece back together. Looks like the factory either 1) forgot to tie off the ends of their thread or 2) set their machines to "suck."So be ready to sew if you get this and you want to wear it again after trying it on.

We ordered a size 7/8 based on other reviews saying this costume runs small. We found it runs long and narrow. The body was snug on our slim boy who wears a size 6, but the arms and legs of this costume were way too long. We hemmed the sleeves and pants. The fabric is very flimsy. Spiderman pajamas from Target made a much better costume.

This is a decent costume but the colors are not bright but rather a darker muted shade of blue and red. Worked for us. However, I needed to take another Velcro fastener at the back for this to stay in place.

My son uses this to play dress up. It lasted a while. It's been a few months and it's now seen better days. If you are only looking for a Halloween costume I would definitely recommend.

Ordered size 8 for my 6 year old. The cosume is too big on him, but he wears it anyway :-)I give it 3 stars since the closure in the back has larges gaps and the armpit was already with a hole.

My 6 year old son LOVES this costume! It fits great - just a tad big so he'll have room to grow and continue to wear it. The velcro is still sticking well enough after 4 weeks of nearly daily wear. It will be easy to replace the velcro when it has worn out.
