Working as expected.
Originally I said it was slow, after using it several times in a row, I realize that I was the one that thought it should be as faster. In all honesty, by the time I was prepped to change the filter and actually changed the filter, it had nearly sucked all the oil out. The additional time actually gave me a chance to clean my hands to get ready to fill the motor. The main advantage it is much cleaner. Some of the purists out there may think you need to pull the drain plug in order to get all the oil out of an engine. That is not entirely true in all cases, but it is fairly easy to see how much oil has been extracted. From personal experience, removing 90%+ of the oil from an engine as well as replacing the filter is more than what is required to keep your engine running healthy. I would agree though that removing the plug every now and again just to wipe off any metal shaving that may be there is still not a bad idea.

Works perfect for my A7! Happy I bought it!
Doing an oil change on some cars from the bottom side is a lot more work with the covers that have to be removed. This is worth the investment!

Works great for European Cars as well as heavy equipment! Would highly recommend!!
Absolutely love this!!! used it first time to drain the transmission oil in an International Flatbed. It works great and has alot of suction. When you get to the bottom of what your pulling oil from and you have it pumped up it actually keeps sucking air for a good 30 seconds when theres nothing left to suck out. We used it on our forklift to change the oil it literally got all of the oil out of the pan. We pulled the drain plug on the forklift to just see what it might have missed and only a few drops came out from the plug. We then tried it on the rearend of a big truck (4 gallons of diff fluid) and although you have to empty the container a few times it had no problem pulling up the thick diff fluid.

it leaks oil all over the floor from the bottom of the container
Am I doing something wrong? I followed the instructions, which are very limited, pumped several times and oil came slowly through the tube into the extractor. Then I noticed a pool of oil under the extractor. Do I have the only defective extractor ever sold, according to all of the reviews which say this thing is great, or did I do something wrong? Right on the box it say "do not disassemble" so I am not going to unscrew the 2 screws on the bottom but if I did I bet I would find a cracked extractor. Any thoughts? I've read that Pela customer service is a waste of time so I'm going to try the reseller. Very unhappy.Update July 2017This product is good. The original unit I received had a defective seal, which the company sent me quickly. The customer service response was excellent, from the manufacturing company. I never heard back from the seller.
