This lighting kit was exactly as described. It is the very first one I have ever owned. Simple to assemble. Light weight, perfect for my indoor lighting needs. The only little problem I have with this particular kit is one of the umbrellas has some small spots on it. Nothing that would interfere with its lighting ability but just a little annoyance to me. This kit is light weight yet sturdy for what it is. The electrical cords are about 10 feet long and are not too heavy as to interfere with the stands. This kit has everything I need to take well lighted photos and video. I use this mainly for my video reviews. However, since this kit works so well, in fact better than I even thought it would, I am finding myself taking more indoor photos than I used to. I am looking for more stills to shoot, just so I can use this kit to light them. I may be a bit generous with my rating of this kit, as it is my first kit I ever owned, but I am really pleased that for its low cost and high quality, it is better than what I thought it would be.

This is a perfect set if you're just starting out. I bought this originally when I was getting ready for a youtube channel relaunch and had a pretty tight budget. It worked perfectly and gave me super great lighting for my videos, plus was super easy to store considering how little space I had at the time. Pros: - travel case is super convenient and helpful for storage - quick and easy set-up and tear down - nice even lighting - great price and perfect if your just starting out - perfect for youtube or something similar Cons: - umbrella polls are a little weak, they easily dent when being secured to the tripod, and the ribs can bend easy, not a big deal though - tripods have poor balance and are easily knocked over Overall I highly recommend this for beginners or someone just pursuing their hobbies. Nice little kit that gets the job done at a great price.

This setup is good for beginners. I use it regularly for filming videos and taking photos. The light is very blue and requires some post production work, but it does well lighting the area. The umbrellas are not the greatest but this is a value kit and is not designed for a full production studio. For YouTube and blogging it does it's job. I would not recommend it for lighting in a Facebook live or YouTube live due to the hue cast from the light bulbs without changing them out. They are a single bulb fixture in each setup.

Nice umbrella light and stand set. This set is really great for a three point lighting set up, where you place one light on both sides of the shot and point towards the subject. Having an umbrella on each side does great for background and front one works amazing for brighter main focus. Sturdy and adjustable light stands, tilt-able for mounting down. Amazing, simple, and pure white lighting with these translucent umbrellas. The lighting I get with these and is soft and airy yet adequately bright and not low. Which is absolutely perfect for taking clothing photos for my online store.

I bought this for my wife who enjoys taking nice photos of our family. Its fairly quick and easy to setup and provides a good bit of light. The power cords have decent length but still fairly short so you will need a couple extension cords. I recommend keeping the plastic sleeves that come with the umbrellas, they seem disposable but it will keep the umbrellas compact and prevent damage when they are in the bag. Overall, it is a good kit and a decent price for beginner use and easy storage under the bed.

I purchased these lights to use for newborn photography. The stands are not the best quality, nor are the umbrellas. My biggest issue was that one of the lightbulb holders broke before I even used the product. If I were to do it over again I may still purchase them however when my business is more profitable I will be replacing them with a product that is better quality. As far as the lighting from them, I have no complaints about that. The lighting on my photos turned out wonderful and I suppose that is the best thing about them.

I just received it the day before, and it has been 36 hours since I first used it. I think this is my first review of it, and I will keep updating it (if it has any problems). This is a relatively simple set of reflective equipment, I often used this kind of reflective umbrella with the flash. For this set of equipment, I can only say that the good light bulbs, the tripods r very stable, at least less fragile... In fact, if you just need such a device, then it is definitely a very cost-effective purchase, and the quality value is back to the cost. Although I am not used to it, I will try to accept it...

Cool as a cucumber umbrella twin set. I really like using these with my back drops. The lighting works really well for filling the background. Really appreciate that I can angle the umbrella, up, down, and all around and I can push the umbrella rod closer or farther away from the bulb. Two tall stands and one shorter, all with one socket holder for holding one bulb, cost effective and so simple to install together. The cord length is good on three and I can space them out. Not only does it come with a storage duffle to hold them all in but one for the bulbs. I particularly found this add on really thoughtful of the company, they really care about their product!

Very good quality set for amateur photographers and dare I say professional photographers on a budget. The whole set feels sturdy and well built and should last for many years to come, the lights are bright and produce a very nice uniform light, it really does its job well and at a very decent price.

Firstly: The stand and umbrella make quality is decent. There was no instruction for assembling the product. When asked the seller if the product is supposed to be switched just like that , they said yes. I lost a bulb that way. They know nothing about the product. When I Insisted, they checked with the manufacturer and confirmed that the product needs a 230V to 110V converter to be used in India! I then shared specs of a converter to check if its compatible, the seller first tried to raise their hands as if they cant get confirmation, then subsequently assured to arrange a call from the manufacturers support, the call never came, and they never bothered to followup as well. Bad experience. The 600W description in the Header of product description is misleading!! It is NOT a 600W product! The set has 3 x 45watt bulbs, so the total is 135 watts, 600Watts is all presumption and assumption. Product rating is 3 however due to the experience, giving it 1/5.

Los postes son de aluminio y corren fácilmente al ajustarlos al tamaño deseado. Es fácil de montar y desmontar y todo el equipo cabe perfectamente en los dos estuches complementarios. Ideal para un estudio amateur o semi pro. Uno de los puntos negativos pero poco sobresalientes es que las horquillas y mariposas de ajuste de los sockets son de plástico, sin embargo son suficientemente resistentes para usarlos normalmente.

Lo recomiendo mucho para videografos o fotografos principiantes. Los focos dan suficiente luz para una persona en un cuarto pequeño, los focos están bien balanceados a 5600k. Ningún panel led o lámpara de halógeno te da por este precio esta cantidad de luz, tripies de iluminación y sombrillas difusoras. Los materiales y los acabados no son los mejores, pero funcionan.

It's essentially the same kit sold by others at almost double the price@100bucks but with a addition of a small stand and a bulb. In my opinion, If you want to take/practice great portraits indoors, two lights are enough. Metal Stands are sturdy but not heavy duty or pro grades types. (Not designed for outdoors or wind), Umbrellas are ok and do the job. Bulb holders and clamps are all plastic. Two large 45 Watts CFL bulbs are supplied, which may not be good enough if you are shooting at higher f (aperture) numbers. (400watts=baloney). You can get them replaced with more powerful LED bulbs as they all have regular/standard thread type lamp holders. (I did use 60W LED's from CanadianTire under ten bucks, 3000K ~worked good). Be very careful when walking around stands and wires. Edit: I bought my kit from Mossfield@ fiftybucks. Bulb older is E27, which has same threads as regular bulbs BUT its is slightly deeper. Some regular bulbs may not appear to work as they wont be making contact inside. Make sure that your LED bulb has E27 base.My regular E33 LED bulb does fits/works even it has shallow depth (threaded length is approx 1").
