I like the little points that help you match
I made a apple core quilt in exchange for some quilt a few years back. I said I would never do another even though the pieces were already cut out. I got this die and was able to cut enough from left over fabric. I like the little points that help you match!! The time before I had to fold and find the centers. a wedge 1/4 foot helps a bunch in the sewing. I have mine paired and I am starting to make them into 4's - I found before it was easier to make them into to sections of 4 down and 16 across .

I love this die
I love this die! I can't imagine cutting out tons of these pieces by template. Then I'd have to add a crease or notch to mark the center. This die does it all in a fraction of the time. I can't wait to start working on my Apple Core quilt.

Apple Cores the easy way!
I purchased this AccuQuilt die for my AccuQuilt Go! to help me cut the curves for my first apple core quilt. In short order last weekend, I had cut dozens of identical apple cores, all perfectly cut, and with the little notches to help make matching easier. This die isn't very expensive, and I'm convinced it will make the piecing of this quilt much more successful!

A large die with notch marks for a perfect apple core quilt.
The die cuts the material the same each time. I want to spend my time planning a quilt and sewing; not cutting. A small error in a cut can have large repercussions later when the quilt is finished. This die gives me the confidence to make large and intricate quilts.
