6 Pocket Vertical Garden Planter – Living Wall Planter – Vertical Planters – for Outdoor & Indoor Herb, Vegetable, Flower Gardens

I purchased 2 of these and loved them at first, but spending a growing season with them I feel ambivalent. I would only purchase them again if I had sunny indoor space, or a covered area that didn't get direct rainPros:- Easy to hang - Mine are simply hung on some screws into a wooden fence- Size fits a small plant flat cell fairly well- My woody herbs (thyme, rosemary, lavender, sage) are all doing wellCons:- The green color advertised is completely wrong. The color of this planter is more of a fluorescent tennis ball yellow.- Vegetables and some herbs I grew in these (lettuce, chard, basil, mint) turned out stunted compared to those I planted in terra cotta pots with the same soil and sun. In part, I think this is because of the limited root space, but I also think it was difficult to keep soil at the correct moisture level because of the felt.- I've had to fertilize more than other plants because heavy rains are washing them right through the felt.

I was disappointed when I received the planter because it was much smaller than I had expected. The wall on which I planned to hang the planter was long and I didn't think this was going to work out. The product itself was made of felt (higher quality than craft felt) with a plastic backing. For the price, I thought I could buy the felt, grommets and plastic and make several of these myself. Just when I was about to repackage and return, I decided to take another look and thought "maybe it's not so bad." I hung the planter on the deck wall and the bright green was the pop of color I needed to add to my decor. I planted succulents in the pockets, and it is PERFECT! And to think I was going to send it back! Very easy to hang and very easy to plant. Yeah, I probably could have made several but the time and energy involved to do it would not have been worth it.

I love this vertical planter and its bright color. It's going to look great in my yard. Its made of a good quality fabric so I'm sure it will last for many seasons. At the end of the season, I can just remove the annuals and fold it up to store in my basement until next year.

An attractive, fun way to decorate the garden with additional color.

So far so good! We'll see how the growing season goes! Based on the ones I have from last year, all should be good!

The stitching between the pockets is poor and ripped shortly after plants were added. Too bad, as it was a gift. It is difficult to keep clean. I do like the concept though.

Impressed with product construction and potential. Purchased for myself and gifts. Looking forward to growing some healthy greens at home!

This is a very eye catching planter. It seems to work as described. I would purchase this item again.
