determined to find low-priced scissors that cut effortlessly thru fabric, I bought 5 diff brands. to my surprise, these scotch 1448 are THE BEST! surpass amazonbasics, westcott, fiskars and stanley by far .I now have a new collection of scissors for kitchen and 'all purpose' work, but these scotch 1448 really stand out for slicing thru all types of fabric precisely, no 'chewing'.deliver a performance I would expect from special seamstress scissors that run around $100 for a fraction of the price. so pleased to have found them!A well-made, versatile scissor.I have been pleased with these scissors for several years. They have been used extensively in the kitchen, craftroom, and around the house. I haven't put them to any ridiculous use, but any odd job around your home you can think of, these scissors will do the trick. They have stayed satisfyingly sharp over the years, and the grip has worn away only slightly. Despite occasionally being exposed to water/moisture they have not rusted or corroded. I expect many more years of service from them.The scissors are what I think most people would consider a standard adult size. They fit a woman's hands very comfortably and a man's hands fairly well. I have no real complaints in regards to their size.Go ahead and buy these general-purpose scissors with the expectation of years of good service.

These scissors are excellent! They are very sharp and do a great job cutting all hair types. The handle is very comfortable, which is extremely important if you are a hair stylist. You don’t have to worry about any soreness or blisters.. I have been using these scissors for a few months now and they are as sharp as the day they arrived! I highly recommend trying these scissors out!!

My husband simply did not want to go back to the barber after I cut his hair a couple of times early in the pandemic lockdown. I watched a Youtube video for technique then ordered these wonderful scissors. They fit my hand well and are comfortable. They are sharp, just right for hair cutting, but the tips are slightly blunted to be kind to the scalp. I wasn't looking for a new career but he sure likes my haircuts!

They are very sharp and the perfect size for cutting someone’s hair. Due to salons being closed, I had to cut my husband’s hair. These were great. Super sharp. So sharp I cut myself twice while giving him the haircut so I learned to use a little comb. Anyway, sharp and precise perfect scissors.

They did the trick for my haircut, but this scissors weren't the sharpest or easiest to use, kinda thick.
