I bought this for a fungus gnat infestation in the soil of my indoor plants. I've been using an active fan type sticky trap and I was catching thousands of these things every week. I tried all the home remedies I could find but I stopped short of the remedies that would cause harm to the plants. Starving the plants of water is NOT an option! I had a lot of doubts about this product. I know heat kills live bugs and where I am is about 118°. I was assured by the seller that they will survive shipping. I was still skeptical so I also bought a small microscope to verify. I mixed up about half the batch into a 2L container and dropped a little onto a plate. It took a few minutes but I started to see movement. Fast movement. These guys really get going! I used my mixture to water all the plants in the house from the top and bottom. It took about a week for the adult gnats to start dying off. I believe their life cycle is about 10 days. No new gnats were being hatched thanks to the Nematodes. It's been 12 days and the house is almost gnat free (I saw 1 gnat earlier today). In about a week, I'll treat the plants with the rest of the Nematodes to finish off any stragglers. Definitely a good purchase!

The media could not be loaded. As everyone else stated, package was at my door for under a minute but the ice pack was melted and the box was pretty warm. That being said Im not sure how many survived. I can tell you however that there were indeed survivors. Unfortunately it arrived mid day and I couldn't invest the time to apply the nematodes that night so they stayed refrigerated for 5 days. I applied them at night and left the last little bit to observe under my USB Microscope. I was surprised to see a few swimmers. I'm pretty certain there were a good amount of nematodes in the package. Only time will tell if it works in the long run.

I've always had very good luck with this company on all of their beneficial organisms. I bought lacewing flies from them before which were viable. This year I got weevils on a peach tree and heard that having a good nematode pop. in the soil can help prevent this next season, so I thought I would try these as well.I saw some other reviews about the nematodes being dead on arrival. It definitely wasn't my case. I was curious and looked at a sample of this under a microscope and it was crawling with activity.I've watered the area around the peach trees with the nematode mix. Time will tell how effective this will actually be but, based off of agricultural research, this should really help to prevent a lot of nuisance garden pests in the coming months.

This company and this product specifically I found out about from a youtube video. It's my go to whenever I have issues! They deliver quickly, the instructions are easy to follow, and all of the products I've tried have worked! (I bought lady bugs, and beneficial neamatodes)

This time the package was too warm and not so effective, but last time there was no shipping delay and they worked great. Will wait to see if the issue resolved but maybe have to buy a second time.

We have 3 dogs, one of which was chewing through the grass to get grubs leaving big holes in the lawn. I saw this was safe and organic with live microorganisms, so bought it. Upon delivery I immediately put the package in the refrigerator!I wasn’t really sure how much to use proportionate to amount of water. I was covering about 900 square feet. I sprayed with a hose connected to a sprayer, but would recommend the handheld sprayer I saw in videos to direct thorough coverage. I used about 2/3 on first round. Waited a couple of days to see if it worked (24 hrs is all it takes). It absolutely did! There were a couple of areas I missed, as my Lab found them, lol, so I was able to mix the rest I had left over and all was taken care of! I was ecstatic! This spring, I will do our whole back yard also covered in decomposed granite as the solution also kills fleas and ticks as well as grubs and other insects. I purchased the SC/SF/HB blend and will reorder the same.
