Good rollers for a gentle wave. I have very thick hair and they do an okay job. I don't notice that mine heat up all that well. If you are really looking for some serious curls, I would recommend the bigger sets of Conair rollers with the 3 different sizes.

My bride has a set that has lasted over 25 years and these are built just the same. They do heat up fast and get the job done.
