Keratin Permanent Hair Dye Cream, 1.0 Black Onyx, Professional Quality Color for Up to 100% Gray Coverage, Bond Enforcing System

I was a L'Oréal girl until L'Oréal stopped making permanent hair colour. They call it permanent, but it washes out. It didn't used to do that. Black never washed out - ever. They also stopped putting expiration dates in the boxes. I started using this. It washes out, but it takes a lot longer, so my colour stays fresher longer. If you're like me and don't trust no one with your hairs this is the best brand to do your own. I've been using it a few years now. Nice colour and better staying power. It's not harsh on the scalp or hair.

This is my second time purchasing and using this kit, and I’ve had amazing results both times. I had been using hair color products from Sally’s for 10+ years, but when I came across this kit, by this brand, I thought I would give it a try. Right out of the box I was really impressed that everything you need to do the color is included in the box. There is a pre-treatment for damaged ends, and a post color bonding treatment/conditioner, which both work great, and there is enough for several applications between colors. The kit conveniently comes with the pre-measured developer already in an applicator bottle. You just put the color into the bottle and shake. It even comes with gloves. It’s super easy and the color comes out great. No more need for color bowls, brushes, measuring cup, bottles of developer, etc. that take up a bunch of space.

After trying many different brands of varying price, I've settled on this one because of its quality and affordability. The color is great and my hair is shiny and smooth after using it. The conditioner that comes with it keeps my hair smooth, too, and you don't need much, so it lasts until the next time I dye my hair (for me 5-6 weeks).

First time user of hair serum and like it so far! The hair color looks and feels great. Less itching and residue than others of the same brand. Only thing is I used it to color my hair and baird, and my baird has a mild blue tint now! I'll try the black 1.0 version next.

I like that it’s thick so it doesn’t run. One thing I don’t like is the after color conditioner. The fragrance is too strong. Not good for someone who suffers from allergies. Other than that, thumbs up.

I am very pleased with this product . It covers the grey, last several weeks. I also notice less breakage. I hope they don’t stop selling it and keep offering this product.

Me encantó este tinte para usar en casa. La mezcla fue muy fácil de preparar y aplicar, y la fórmula se distribuye súper bien por el cabello sin gotear. Agradecí mucho que incluyera guantes, porque hizo todo el proceso más limpio y cómodo. El color quedó muy bonito, uniforme y prácticamente igual al de la caja. Después de enjuagar y usar el acondicionador que trae, mi cabello quedó suave, brillante y con buena sensación. En general, lo recomiendo totalmente para quienes quieren teñirse en casa con un resultado profesional sin ir al salón

Best hair dye for black hair, it last longer compared to Garnier product, in the 1.0 true black color. it last around 2 months +++ and the dye is easy to remove from skin, you need a good wash under the shower, around 15 minutes wash you hair and your skin, the dye on skin will vanish fast. I really like this dye, you get a special application for your hair points, its called Serum, it is really healing the hairs in the process of dyeing them.

It works very well. It spreads and coats everything. Develops pretty quickly

I really like this hair dye. For drugstore its one of the better ones. My hair always looks way healthier after use and it covers my stubborn greys really well. It also comes with a serum you use on your ends to help with damage. There are only two things I am not happy with. One it stains really bad and is harder to get off your skin than other hair dyes Ive used. The second is for the price you don't get as much product as other brands. Like with L'Oreal as a comparison one bottle was enough to cover my hair when it was down to the small of my back. I have my hair cut to just below my shoulder blades and I just have enough to cover the roots and a thin layer on the ends.

I wanted a black with blue undertones but not a full blue black. This color was so easy to use and the color came out great. I used the serum and conditioner. I wanted to test the box to its fullest potential so I used everything and followed the instructions word for word. My hair is SO shiny and feels very healthy after using. I will continue to use this when my roots need a touch up. I have natural level 6 hair which is a light to medium brown. I'm definitely keeping this black for a long while. I've been doing my hair myself for 14 years and I'm not a beginner. This color would be great for beginners to use though. 10/10!

Really like it, it is hard to get here in Cape Breton, so I ordered 3 of them to hold me over for a year lol.
