MAGID AX143S CutMaster Sleeves, Cut Level 4, Aramax XT, 14", Green (1 Sleeve) was a good product. Unfortunately was testing it out and a German steel kitchen french knife cut all the way through the material. Fortunately it did protect from getting a nastier cut or knick. Since there was no injury i keep it at 4 stars. Product arrived lightening quick.

I have used a sleeve while pruning a tree with couple of large dead branches that needed to be removed and trimmed down to go to my city compost pile (so everything has to be trimmed to go in a large wheelie bin). The sleeve was completely effective. No cuts or scrapes.I also used the sleeve while clearing small 4" gutters by hand. Every year I get some cuts from the flash edges. Not this year.I am taking a star off because the sleeve is very tight. I hardly have Popeye arms and it's a struggle pulling it on. The length is ok, though. The basic 14" size is good my 6 foot tall height with average arm length.

What was good:• While I have not tested this sleeve’s cut resistance, I have used gloves made of similar material for several years as I work on home projects. I believe this will provide basic protection against cutting edges that are low force, but not any power tools or such.• It provides protection while being breathable and flexible. It is comfortable enough to wear, which is better than stronger protection that is not worn because it is uncomfortable.• The size was right (for an average adult arm) and felt comfortable. This is available in different lengths.So, what’s so-so or not good:• A separate glove is required. Some sleeve designs include the hand, either fully or leaving the fingers and thumb exposed for materials handling.• The material is a bit thinner than the gloves that I use. This allows flexibility with the tradeoff that the cut resistance is a notch less at 4 rather than 5 for gloves I use.• I cannot comment on the durability or results of washing. If there is an issue, then I will edit this review.This product seems effective in its primary purpose of providing wearable arm protection against low force cuts. I am 6’ 2” tall and the 14” sleeve fit my lower arm from the wrist to just above the elbow.This review is for the “MAGID AX143S CutMaster Sleeves, Cut Level 4, Aramax XT, 14, Green…” product.

I have had the product for around 2 weeks and it appears to be working just fine. I mostly use mine for when I am weeding in the garden or doing minor work around the house. I haven't had to test it against any knives or blades but it's kept me from snagging on nails and from getting hit with thorns plenty of times.I will say if you have really big arm muscles be careful about ordering. I'm not extremely jacked like a bodybuilder but I have pretty big arms and the sleeve is a bit of a tight fit (which I like but I know isn't for everyone.)

I actually got this because my puppy has sharp nails and teeth and I was looking for something that would protect my fragile skin. And this does that. I did run a couple of different knives across it to test that out and I think it is cut resistant.The overall quality was OK. A little thread fray around some of the stitching, but it didn’t appear that it was going to come apart or anythingMy only negative is that it was really tight around my upper arm to the point that I wouldn’t wear them. And I don’t have a big arm - medium at most. I realize that it needs to be snug to stay up, but this was beyond snug.

So one just has to trust the "cut level" rating of 4; hope I never encounter it. But the fit is very nice and I think flexible. Does not hinder movement in anyway, which is important.

The media could not be loaded.  I did get this MAGIC CutMaster Sleeves. These is a lightweight sleevethat has knit material to protect my arm working in my small garage workshop. I deal with metal chips and used it outside as well for gardening. I pruned my blueberry bush that has lots of tiny needles.So far no real complaints, sometimes removiing the sleeve after sweating can be difficult but nothing to really worry about. I did hand wash it and hung it to dry.I can see myself using this while working on my car when I dont want to wear a long sleeve shirt.Remember that its just one sleeve, so keep that in mind. You may want to get a second sleeve. Some reviews it seems some people didn't understand only one sleeve comes with the order.I'm not a professional, just a dude who likes to work around the house.
