A great little stand...that ALSO charges!
As I wrote recently concerning another competing device, chargers are getting so plentiful that in order to stand out a new one needs to be different - in such a manner as to answer a special consumer need - if it wants to have any chance at selling well.Well, this one does that quite admirably, and because of it will be especially appealing to those who own any of a wide variety of tablets and iPads. I own a Kindle Fire, my daughters own the Samsung Galaxy and an iPad, and all of us have used this new charger and have enjoyed its hands-free feature with hours of enjoyment. As you can tell by the pictures, the Lifecharge JuicePACK is designed to be a foldable stand, holding tablets like those mentioned (as well as the Nook, and smartphones, and any other devices I've forgotten) in a stationary position in order that one can read, do work, watch a movie, follow a recipe, or take part in a host of other activities (including charging). It's a great feature, and the base is definitely weighty enough to hold tablets and readers in place. The daughter with the iPad was especially grateful, saying that her previous flight to a conference across the country was hard on her due to her having to hold her tablet up as she watched a movie and took part in other activities during the flight and the layovers. She told me she wished she had had this little gizmo back then.As for the stand itself, though its comparatively heavy base is designed to give it the weight needed to provide balance for its display stand, the entire apparatus is only ¾ of a pound. We found the stand did quite well holding almost anything we placed on it as long as there was no case or accompaniment that made the displayed item heavier. In simple terms, we found the effectiveness and range of the stand was diminished quite proportionately by any weight added. But as to holding up against UN-accompanied tablets? It did great. Obviously, when hosting simple tablets, this device worked well. As long as we kept the arm of the apparatus within "normal" range, it did a really nice job, allowing the user to read or work unencumbered. One nice additional feature is that the tightness of each arm's hinge is adjustable, allowing the user to better enable the apparatus to support what is being placed upon it.However, let's not forget an important fact: this is, at least as far as its labeling, a charging device, and to that end its key features include its fairly considerable total charge that it can hold: 7800 mAh, a term generally denoting the device's charging capacity. This can be better thought of as the ability to charge up to three smartphones. Charging other devices can be accomplished using two different output ports (which can be used simultaneously): a 1 amp and a 2.1 amp, the latter providing a faster, more "powerful" charge typically used by smartphones and tablets, etc. There is a micro USB input port on the side, and the user can keep track of the JuicyPACK's available charging level via four lights on the top side of the device, indicating 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent of remaining capacity.LifeCHARGE's JuicyPACK includes a foot-long micro USB cable that can be used either to charge outside devices or, by linking it to a computer or a charging device, to be charged itself (LifeCHARGE says that a completely "dead" or empty device should take approximately 6 to 7 hours.)Additionally, the JuicyPACK boasts a small but strong flashlight (also called a "torch"), which is activated by holding the button above its output ports for at least three seconds. It's a sensible addition many chargers have, especially so because these chargers become particularly useful devices during power outages. This device folds up really well...it's very neat. Once folded, it's about half as big as a trade paperback, or about twice the thickness of a small writing journal (like a Moleskine) - a little over 4" by 5" and a little over 1" tall. And all of its features can be accessed while it is folded up...with the exception being the input port. The output ports, however, are accessible. The device has a one-year limited warranty.NOTE: I was supplied this product free of charge with no condition other than my writing a fair and I was supplied this product free of charge with no condition other than my writing a fair and honest review -- which this is.

A Very Great Vesatile 3 in 1 Device to Have!!!!
If I were to pick a great Portable Power Bank/ Tablet Holder, It definitely would be this one. When I received it, it was already precharged which to me was pretty great since I get to use it right then.It looks very fashionable when I'm charging my tablet up on my nightstand and it has a stylish creative design to the stand as well. The amount of juice this device has is very powerful with an 7800 mAh power capacity. That's enough to charge my tablet or Iphone up to 3 times. On the side of it, it has an Dual Output for charging either my IPhone or Tablet. The time it takes to charge it is about 5-7 hours which is pretty manageable. The four bright lights on it tell how much juice is left and when it's finally charged up, all of them will be lit up blue which will be 100%. The button function can tell how much power is left with just a click, but that's not all. It also has a built-in flashlight for help see through the dark or for what I use it for, looking to see if my phone or device is charging up. How cool is that right. Now, though it says that it is meant for tablets & Iphones, I found out that it also can charge other smartphone devices as well using a usb cord cable plugged into the output supply.I also like the foldable stand that is attached to it. It has came in handy many times for me. I use to hold up my blue tablet for when I want to either charge it or when my hands get tired. It really does help with this. It also can lift up depending on the amount of weight that is on it. Now I will give you a warning, it does works well for the ipad, and many other light tablets but if you have like a hard case on it like I do on my Verizon Ellipsis 7, it will fall down because of that problem. I just put it right beside my pillow or my lamp right beside my bed to hold it up to give it support. I also just found out that I can tighten the silver bolts to make it stay and that helps a lot.Other than that, it is a very great sturdy product to have to charge my devices along with displaying them as well. If you wanted a great device that can hold your light weight tablets, has an built-in light for convenience, and charge your device up pretty quickly, I will definitely recommend this product to you.Note:"I was sent a sample in Exchange for My Honest Opinion/Feedback"
